I just had a look. I don't know who deactivated it originally, but I don't see why it would be regarded as stolen :/ The Wild Hearts Troy character has a wavy mane. Plus most Palominos have that coloring, and the socks aren't uncommon either for designs.

BUT, your character images for the profile could use a little editing. If you re-save the original lineart as either png or gif, when you color it you won't get those pixels around the lines and it will look a lot better. If you're getting them off dA, be sure to use the download button, don't right click and save, or the quality won't be good.

Again - mods have to trust the every day member with reports ,they do ask for sources as well and I have seen this done but there people they can't have read every book or seen every show so they have to trust every day members so stop blaming the wrong people

I have a question then, how come I got another WARNING from the MODS about stealing a char from a book/Movie? I haven't stolen anything out of a Book or movie accept a name I really liked, but you cant copyright names. And the chars with the names from a book or movie are NOTHING like the character in the book or Movie. Not that I'll get a response, no one seems to help me but Beth anymore.

It's never nice to be accused of art or character theft, especially when you've never even heard of the character or artist you're supposed to have stolen from. And, let's face it, when it comes to realistic animal designs, there's bound to be some amount of similarity between characters; there's only a finite amount of variations of the same coat. To some degree I can see some similarities: the pink nose and the palomino coat. But that doesn't mean that every palomino with a pink nose is automatically copying Troy, just as every dunskin isn't copying Spirit.

I think renegade's frustration seems to be due to the fact that the mod who deactivated the character doesn't seem to be around to explain their decision further or to listen to renegade's response. In that case, surely it doesn't really help asking another, more active mod about it, since they weren't the one who made the decision and therefore can't explain the reasons for the decision.

However, if you do ask another mod to look into it, renegade, they may be able to have a look for themselves and overturn the decision or at least give you more of an explanation for it. I understand how frustrating it is to have characters or images deactivated for seemingly confusing or inconsequential reasons. Like Blaze said, the mods seem to have a lot to work through, and it sometimes feels as though they make decisions quickly or at a glance. But I'm sure they're not trying to deliberately antagonize anyone, and if you explain your concerns I'm sure they'll look into it and sort it out for you.

Uh, what? There are so little mods, and even fewer ACTIVE mods, and they barely manage to keep up with all the sites (since there are no serparate source mods anymore, only a few global mods for everything). And like Blaze said, most of the things you blame mods for aren't even dependant on them.
What you should do is to talk to them and explain the case instead of jumping into conclusions and complainings.
And who you PMed? Because like I said not all mods are even active. It's best to talk to Hecate, Nakou, Saske, Draco or Moss. They seem to be the most active of all.

You should stop blaming the mods for everything it's MEMBERS who report characters ,some times they take the members words as truth as there could be more then 100 reports to deal with sometimes they will look into it them selves,

The mods de-activated my character Fleet because I used Wild-Heart's base and I made her a palamino :I I had the same problem!

Troy has a paler color and a curly/wavy mane ._.
