Ok so I downloaded GIMP!! i'm still knew to this but i was wondering if any of you can give me a tutorial (my youtubes not working) on how to ad a background on a lineart/blank render

Okay, so you add a new layer, yes, a new layer, which then you move that layer under the intended layer/s, you can then draw in or copy/paste a background in and move it around to how you please.
