Question :

I've been trying over & over again on finding a easier way on rendering on gimp. But I can't seem to find a easier way to do it. Can someone make a tutorial for me on different rendering  techniques & secrets for rendering on gimp?

Best answer :

Well the way I render is pretty simple.

1. Take a sceenshot, and I paste it onto GIMP.

2. Open a new layar and name it "Lines"

3. Take the pencil (or brush, but it'll be harder to colour) and put a small dot where you want to start your line.

4. Hold down shift and a faint line will appear. Match it up with the lines on the screenshot and click. A line should appear. Just keep doing this till you've outlined the full body.

5. Once you've done that, open up another layer and name it "Colours" Make sure it is the SECOND layer, lines must go on top.

6. Fill in the gaps with the bucket tool.

7. Once you've coloured in your image, go to image at the top and click flatten image, which should convert all the layers together.

8. Save it

There is another way, but it's very tricky. I usually do it the easy way c:
