Okay, so most of my characters are protected, because I don't want certain people using them. But when I click on a protected character I expect a sign to come up that I need to send a PM to ask permission to use the character, but lately it's not been working. It just let's me use it. So that must occur to my characters. Why is it doing this?

It also goes for private characters too.

Either its a glitch or you need to take your horse you want to be used temprarly do what you want to do with him or her then quickly put back on protected. This is a guess I'm not sure it will work but if you want to give it a try go ahead!
