If all our character have to be Spirit Related, why do we have the option to have non related chars? Why must all chars be related when they aren't? I ask this because I'm sick of my characters being deactived because of no relation, when most of my chars ARE spirit related.

Give me one good reason why these un-realted characters should stay.
You haven't even given a reason! You're just talking about mods,
completely off the question! I agree completely with Saske Italian
Wolf. |

I'm really sorry if you all find this very unfair but this is a
fansite and in a fansite everything has to be related to the movie
universe. I have many characters that aren't related to one of the
sources (Ginga OCs, my personal canine characters, my dragon) but I
keep them on DA because they don't have a relation. I don't make them
all a page on Balto Source or How To Train Your Dragon Source only
because they're dogs and a dragon. Steet may not be on the Sources everyday anymore and it's hard to talk to him but we mods managed to inform him about what was happening with all the non-related and sparkles characters and he agreed with the new rules. Think it as you like, but it's the truth. I'm sorry if I seemed rude, I don't want to offend anyone but that's how things are now. |

The rules changed recently if you all noticed Moss' latest news. We
asked permission to Steet and he agreed. These are FAN sites about
animated movies it means that all the fanworks here (art, characters,
images, etc) MUST be somehow related to the movie universe. What's the
point of making a fansite if all the fanworks are about everything but
the main movie? This is not unfair, on the opposite. If you want to make random horses that don't belong to the Spirit universe, free to do it but do it elsewhere, on Deviant Art, Fur Affinity but not here because this is a site about Spirit-Stallion of the Cimarron and all the stuff that is in here has to be Spirit related. The "Not related" option was added (along with the sparkles) because there were so many people complaining about the old and fair rules where everything had to be related to the fan site. That could have been fine but things now degenerated. Basically, you could have make a unicorn on Balto Source, it wasn't Balto related, there weren't rules that said it couldn't be done. I could have make my dragon a page in there and trust me, I was tempted to do so, he even had a Balto relation because he was related with my fursona who, at that time, was the mate of my ex-boyfriend's fursona, who was one of Balto's kids. I wouldn't have broken any rule. |

"The option for "NOT Spirit related" was added when Non related
characters were allowed. Now the rules are changed and all the
characters MUST have a relation but that option can be taken off only
by steet who, sadly, doesn't come here very often and has a lot of
other things to fix on the sources. Even if there's still the non
related option, you always have to put "Spirit related"." Who's rules have changed? The mods? Do they have Steet's permission to change his original rules? If those character-relation rules can ONLY be taken off by Steet, that means he's the ONLY one who can change them. If he had wanted the mods to be able to alter those sections, would they not have the ability to access them? And even if the character is NOT Spirit-related, we still have to put 'Spirit-related'? So...we have to lie about our characters now? I don't know about anyone else, but I DON'T LIE. About anything. This still seems very strange to me. All I hear from the mods is that Steet is never around and he never answers their messages, and now all of a sudden they 'have permission' from him to change the rules? To change things they can't even access? I don't believe it. At all. Please don't take this personal, Saske. I consider you a friend. But really, don't you think this sounds a little suspicious? |

To be honest, I am a women of truth and I haven't been on here long
only about 3 hours but from what I've seen mods do just make up rules
which is not acceptable. But there is two web masters and mods are
generally power hungry which is the case here I think. |

Yeah I agree with Roach, Draco is abot the only mod who still cares
about this site. I have more spirit related chars than non and I plan
to keep all my non related chars no related, and thats it,I'm not
changing them for picky dictating mods. |

It also doesn't help when all of the mods have their own set of rules.
Another mod had said that 'as long as you have more Spirit-related OCs
then non-related ones, you'll be alright'. And now, they're removing
all non-related ones altogether? To me, it seems like the current mods
are slowly taking over the site because Steet isn't here to stop them
from making up their own rules. This site isn't run by a caring
webmaster anymore; it's run by overbearing GESTAPO. I've about had
enough of them.... |

I think the rules should of been left as the were when I joined, its
pointless to even be on this site if you can only have spirit related
chars now. |

The option for "NOT Spirit related" was added when Non related
characters were allowed. Now the rules are changed and all the

by steet who, sadly, doesn't come here very often and has a lot of
other things to fix on the sources. Even if there's still the non
related option, you always have to put "Spirit related". A character gets deactivated if it's stated that it's Spirit related ( "Is Spirit related" as chosen option) but there's no sign of relation on the bio and if the character is stated as non related ( "NOT Spirit related" as chosen option) but it clearly is related. Maybe that's why your characters get deactivated. |
