Oh, and the 'Red Pony'. It's somewhat of a good movie. I personally liked it more than the book. If 'The Heavenly Horse from the Outermost West' and it's sequel 'Piper at the Gate' was ever made into a movie, I would most surely recommend it to anyone, and it would be another great example of 'western' times and a story from a horses point-of-view.

Well, not really western but it is set around that age. There's 'Black Beauty' and 'War Horse'. And also, back when I was a kid, they made old and not really known by many, western 'watered down' 'Black Beauty''s and 'Black Stallion''s. There was also 'The Colt' that's set during the American Civil War (a really good movie). And there is another movie that is set in Australia about a wild Brumby named Thowra. It's a bit modern day, but it does have a good western touch to it. Cowboys breaking in wild horses, horse wrestlers, horses surviving other wild horses and the bad weathers, and a cowboy living in his cabin in the middle of nowhere searching to capture Thowra. 'The Silver Stallion' is another great movie. It's based off the books and I do have the first one, but I have yet to read it. But if I liked the movie, I don't doubt that I'll like the novel. And the original 'Flicka' and 'Thunderhead, Son of Flicka'. Good movies, good books.

Those are about all the movies that have a 'western' feel to them They may not be exactly like 'Spirit', but they are still good.

I personally don't know of another western movie telling from a horse's point of view. There could be a lesser well-known one out there somewhere, but as for anything commonly known it's a no.
