Hi guys :D
I noticed with alot of peoples images that they say that they take there own screen shots. People like Sierra,the_Fantasia(sonato), and so on, and I also noticed, that when they have there own screen shots, they always turn out beautiful. Im kinda tired own using linearts because it takes no time to fill them in and make them look nice. I do use the screenshots that they have here on SS,but almost all of them have been used to make linearts. I wanted screen shots like the one of Fantasia's newest picture, with Fantasia and the other horse(the white one) Im sure she had to get them somewhere, and they certainly werent here XD I just want to know if you guys go on a site or use youtube or something. Please help me,I want to become a better artist when using my pc.
Thankyou :D

This is how I do screens, it can be kind of annoying at times but it's
how I personally do it. What type of computer do you have? If you have a Windows Vista or 7 computer, Put the DVD into your PC and Windows Media Player should start running the disc. Now, pause the film and hit the start button on the lower left of the screen. You should have a search bar on the bottom of the window that pops up. Now, type in "Snipping Tool" and it should pop up in the start window. Click on this and a smaller window should pop up. Minus out the Snipping tool. Now, Make your WMP window as large as you can WITHOUT making it go fullscreen, since it will make opening your snipping tool difficult. Go through the movie and look for a pose you like (you may have to rewind a lot to get a spot on pic) pause the movie so you have your pose frozen on the screen. Now open your snipping tool and use whichever of the three options suits you best. I would recommend window snip or full screen snip. You will have an option to save the pic you managed to snip. It will automatically be saved as a PNG file so you can render it in MS paint without any difficulties. and viola, you have your screens. It's a very rough process especially with my dvd being old and scratched so it doesn't always cooperate. |
