Hello,

 I was wondering. How do you make an image, and then add it to a back ground. Or you make an image and add an image with it. Along with like add faded images to one image?

I have GIMP, and I was kindof thinking you add a new layer and like open a new image or something. I just don't know. Thank you.

You can use the skethcher. Open an image from your comp. Then, open another one. Slect the area you want blended. Copy and paste it to your original image, then lower the opacity. Hope this helps!

My best guess is fit the image over the original one, the new image on a new layer. What a lot of people do for backgrounds is clone tool the character out (so it's just the background) and add their character drawing to it. I'm not sure about GIMP, but this works with Photoshop.
