Sierra

I feel like we don't have any Mods here, why? Because a lot of people are getting away with having stolen/poorly made characters (some characters get activated and they don't even have a HORSE for their avatar picture) Others are getting away with theft from deviantart and other art sites that they use for their characters or post as their own image work.

So, here's my question. Do we even have character mods? If no, we need some this isn't a huge site like Balto Source, we would only need one or two.

This is also a personal shoutout to the mods if we do have any, please read through the characters before their activated because there is a lot of stolen work being used. The reason why I'm emphasizing this is because I am one of the many victims of people blatantly stealing line art, renders, and drawings, along with many others. For us, the original artists it's extremely unfair.

And a lot of times the characters posted don't even have a bio, they're nothing there, no information. This is also very frustrating to me because it's in direct violation to the rules on this site, in which earlier days my characters would have been deactivated immediately if I did that.

Shimmering has broken her collarbone and won't be very active for the next 6-8 weeks, as she needs her rest. The other two mods I've not seen in a while and UK and I are discussing a solution.

Also, characters are no longer "moderated" when they're sent in. Many people complained to Steet so he made the characters automatically activated (but if they're deactivated for any reason, THEN they go through the activation process with the moderators). THAT is why so many of them are half-cocked characters, poorly made, stolen, etc.

The best you could do, Sierra, is report the infringements as soon as you see them. I've been trying to go through characters and deactivate the ones I find, but there are ones that I don't see.
