I have tried to figure this out on my own but with no success so here's my question(s);

What are the steps to create paint friendly lineart on photoshop elements?

I also have trouble colouring lineart on there - the colours will overlap the lines.

So can any photoshop element users help me with these two problems, please?

you have to change the brush to pencil and set the brush size to 2 ,then on a layer behind that color it white then go back to the lines use the select tool click the out side of the horse, then go back to the white and get ride of any un-needed white
