well first off you have to use an editing program, to start off i
would say play around on MS Paint, it's a program that comes on your
computer already. then when you feel you've got the just of rendering
, you can add Paint.net. photofilter or GIMP (all free progames you
can downlaod online) to use insted. Now in your editing program you will want to copy and past the Spirit screenshot into it. then you color over or outline the characters. When starting out in MS paint i would sujest you contact TheLionKingLover for Tips on how to render in that program as she is very good at it. I would Also check The Forums for tutorials as well as youtube. The main Tools for Rendering in MS paint, if i remeber are the line tools, the bucket tool, the freestyle Shape tool and the Eraser. If you would like Paint.net is also Rookie renderer friendly to, and has more options than Paint does. In Paint.net it's pretty much the same. Copy and past the Spirit screenshot into the program then make a new layer, on the new layer trace over the horse in the screenshot by using the line tool. when you are done tracing hide the bottom layer (the one with the screenshot in it) and you should have what looks like a coloring book page or lineart. from there you just pick your colors color it in and then make the Screenshot visible again, then you merg the layers back into one another and save it. it all may sound confusing but it clears it's self up once you play around with the programs a bit. I will try to find some links to tutorials for you and post them in this message. |
