I am truely sorry if this has been asked before, i did look, and i didn't see it, if it has than i am very sorry and would be grateful for the link to that question.

 

Now i am a bit confused as it seems to be different for the various AS sites.

But i have noticed the  unamed Idain horse with the circle over his eye, has been cloned about a million times on this site. know It can be argued many people do the same thing with Saba, Dingo, and the rest of the pups on BS. But on TLKS it is not aloud ot make clones of story book or camo characters.

Does that rule aply here as well?

sorry it's a stupid question because obviously it is alou dhere because people keeping doing it.

And truthfully the first character page that was made for the horse was fine, it's just that people kept making a page for him. Using screenshot pictures from the movie.

Which if you think about it is Stealing the character form the first person who made him a character profile.

And even the first person who made this cameo horse a profile, is in a since stealing the character from Pixar.

so it should not be aloud...and i find it very confusing. as it breacks a few rules and i don't know if it should be reported or left alone.

well 2 the other strider is only a desendant of the original strider. but still there will be more clones to come.....I really think there should be a rule agenst this.

if they made an official character, but called it 'lakota horse' or something then anyone could use him and call him what they wanted. im going to use him as a father and grandfather to some of my characters in the future, but i dont think i need a character page. he's fairly minor in my plotlines, he's just a relative. but yeah, at least make your own lineart and fill it in to look like him, then add or takeaway something. or, dont bother, on the other character's page say that they (eg) 'are in love with the grey lakota horse form the movie'.

Horse---> well if you think about it it violates the rule being, not to steal characters as it is tecnically stealing the character from pixar.

I think it would be okay if there were one character (maybe by the mods' permission or something? I dunno), but, three is kind of a pester. :/ I don't think it should be allowed really... I don't think there's a rule like that on this site

The one's I am talking about have not been modified in any way, there just screencaps, or renders with the same (exact) colors and war markings (the circle and such)

this had me wondering for a while too... i think if they take the character and modify it a little bit, it should be allowed. but if they take pictures directly from the movie, i think it should be deactivated.... but i can see how this wouldn't really make sense if one of the other sites doesn't allow it.
