As previously stated, my two old stallies are in need of herds. The Maison-Ereptum, two herds bonded together and lead by half-brothers, is located in modern day Tenmile Range, Colorado. Mares, stallions, bachelors, and foals are all needed, but first, some insight into these herds' histories...

The Maison herd(name means “Home” in Latin), is a strong herd with an unfortunate past. Several lead stallions, mares, bachelor stallions, and even foals have come and gone, leaving those who had grown up in the herd searching for a firm, strong in character leader who will hold the herd together.

~ Sage leads this herd, and is well respected for his calm reaction to pressure and problems

The Ereptum herd, is unlike most other herds. It's small, and consists entirely of one big family. Family issues have come up in the past, and diversity is very scarce among the herd members. After another, ruthless stallion attacked, killing of kidnapping most stallions and bachelor stallions, a kind, honest leader who the family trusted was needed to begin the healing process. Taking a leap of faith, the family followed this new leader, the first leader who wasn't related by blood, into joining with another herd. The Maison-Ereptum was formed.

~Mighty leads this herd, and is mates with the older lead stallion's daughter, though she was kidnapped and he was killed.

Now, onto the positions needed for each herd:

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRIES:

RULES:

You know, follow all basic rules, and if you use a render, line art, or image in your entry that you did not make, CREDIT THE MAKER OR YOU WILL BE EXCLUDED.

Basics: Entries must be neat, and complete. Designs must be realistic and unique, bios must be believable and well-written, and the first bio presented below should be completed and included with all entries, as well as a full body image and link to the character. The second bio should be completed and included with characters who are not yet made, along with the first bio, and a full body image of the character. Each person may enter only two characters(excluding the optional extra foal), but this may change depending on the response.

Entries: A complete entry consists of one or both of the bios(listed below) completed and sent via comment or PM, a full body image of your character, and a link to that character(if applicable). Entries should be neat and complete, “work in progress”s will not be accepted. Send the bio, link, and image in one lump package, I promise I won't mind. Sending them in all at once saves time and energy, and makes things easier for me, which I like. Also, “full body” images should be just that, images of the full body of the character. This means that everything from the head to the four hooves is visible, and there is no over-lapping with other characters. You may send in a render/line art, but renders are preferred. Actually, images you made yourself are even better, but they must be full bodies.

Designs: If you know anything about me, you know that I'm HUGE into creativity and uniqueness, and I want to see those in an entry. The designs should be realistic, and definitely unique. However, if you feel that you can make a “cliche” design work, then go for it.

Preexisting Characters: Already made characters are allowed, and old, abandoned ones are welcome, as long as you plan on bringing them back to life. When entering a preexisting character, you should:

1. fill in the FIRST bio(listed below) only, there is no need to fill in the second, but you may if you'd like.

2. Send in a full body image of the character(s).

3. Include a link to the character. You may either include this in the comment WITH the bio, or as a separate entry.

New Characters: New characters that do not yet have their own character page are accepted, as are character that you have adopted, have not yet created. If you don't want this character after you enter it, or if it doesn't get chosen and you have no other use for it, let me know and we will figure something out. Also, these characters are yours to keep, whether they make it or not, why would I want to steal your characters? When sending an entry for a new carrie, you should:

1. Fill in BOTH bios listed below. They should be sent together and neatly completed. No other information wold be required, but you may include some if you'd like.

2. Send in a full body image of the character.

Also, if you want to list Sage as one of your foal's parents, that will be decided for certain only after I chose a mate for Sage.

One last note, all entries for the Ereptums herd, MUST be related to Bonnie(Mighty's mate) or her father, Jenthro, who I will make soon. All flaxens, chestnuts, blacks, and other solid colors are accepted with high marks into the Ereptum family!

I wish this could have been avoided Dakota... you are so sweet, and I love your entries. Please at least leave Wild Waters, since she has already been accepted. I wish my only and first project could have avoided unnecessary drama, but of course it didn't. Breaker, dear, I'm glad that you're joining, but if you read teh project, you know that you need to send in not only a image of your character, but the completed bois, depending on if she's a new character or preexisting... also, I said that I specifically wanted a full body image... you need to revise and complete your entry before I can accept it.

Congrats to Dakota and Angle, both entries are in! Dakota: as promised, Wild Waters has made it in! I decided that I couldn't wait any longer for that image, though you do still need to send it in, preferably soon. Angel: I fell in love with Bridget when her breed was listed as "Tennessee Walker"! Also, I completely agree, their simple designs would complement each other greatly! In short, I'm head over hooves for Bridget! Thanks so much for entering her! Of course, in the end, Sage can only have one "lead mare", but he will be open to mating with whichever of your characters doesn't win, as well as other mares in the herd that fancy him. I figured their simple designs would flow good together and I havent been a lead mare for anyone, so would like to travel this path as well! How they act towards other in the herd: very concerned and helpful, loves to interact with them but loves her quiet time too Love life in the herd: would like to have Sage Family(that applies to either their history or the herd): Bridget's parents were show horses whose owners died. Soon her parents died of starvation when she was 1yrs old. She ended up being snaked by some bachelor stallions but after 2yrs (never getting pregnant, which she was thankful) she snuck off when the stallions were fighting over her. She roamed until she found the Maison Herd and after being accepted by Sage, fell head over heels for him in her own quiet way. She loved his gentle kindness. Likes vs Dislikes: likes spring, foals, other sweet horses, older horses (wise ones, ), learning, loving, being loved. Dislikes hateful horses, hard winters, two-leggeds, panthers, bachelor bands, being alone Mate/crush/crushers/foals: has a huge crush on Sage but is quiet about it. Brief history: Up there, . BIO 2 Family(that applies to either their history or the herd None left living Likes vs Dislikes: Cadfan like to watch the sky and the earth around him, he enjoys conversation with other horses, and telling horse folklore to foals, He loves to rest and relax in water and likes to be active. Cadfan hates mud and animals of prey, He hates the smell of Dandelions. He dislikes having a row with any of his friends and when mares are yelled at or mistreated, He hates most humans. Mate/crush/crushers/foals: Cadfan does not currently have a mate he used to but she was shot and killed after she lost her site, this took place back when he was a Show horse. ___________________________________________________ ___ Brief history: Foal/filly: Cadfan had spent all his early life in a herd by the rivers, it was a huge herd and was a problem for the people in the area. He survived by his mother as his father had died the day he was born. His fathers Death was the very first thing Cadfan's eyes saw. Yearling: as a yearling he was taken by A round up crew whom said to many wild horses where living in the area. He was broken and sold to an man whom used to own a large ranch however, the man had to down size due to lack of funds. Cadfan was made a Show horse and was a very good one at that, he fell in love with a mare at the ranch and his like seemed to be going ok. Stallion: the Ranch was loosing more and more money and their owner began to drink, this lead to him mistreating Cadfan and his mate. Soon the Ranch closed down and Cadfan's mate had lost her eye site due to infection. Their owner after a few days shot cadfan mate because of this. After the Death of his Mate and having gone through so much abuse he feld from the ranch into the wild, and lived on his own searching for a heard.

He started out as a Show horse thus he can keep calm when things go wrong. Also his playful side makes him great with foals. How they act towards others in the herd: Cadfan is very respectful and is either very brotherly or acts like a Gentleman, He's connection wit other horses can be almost Empathetic. He's Quiet but very social with other herd members, He is often the crying shoulder, Baby sister, or Advice giver.
