Hello,

Perhaps you've heard of the Spirit game: Forever Free? Well, there are so many characters in it (besides Spirit himself and many other characters from the film), I'm going to give them official pages here. But I need good quality body pictures for them. Can you help?

Here is a fan site with head pictures of the characters: http://spiritstallionofthecimarron.webs.com/forever-free

You can find the characters' body pictures online on Google Images, but they MUST be from the game (not fanmade images / edits), just so to make absolutely sure the colours and markings are correct.

What you have to do:
- Choose one or more game characters
- State in comments which ones you are going to try for
- Draw or render the character/s
- Send the picture/s onto this project

Rules:

- You can either draw the character, or render / edit  it.

- The picture must be your own render or artwork (no bases/linearts allowed) - no stealing.

- Please make sure the character colours and markings are correct - as close as you can get to how they look in the game! Also, if the character has a certain build, please try to capture that build in your render / drawing.

- Once again, use colours/designs from the game (not from fanmade images / edits), just so to make absolutely sure the colours and markings are correct.

- Please be really neat when rendering or drawing.

- For a drawing, you can use a Spirit film background, or immitate the background style as much as possible.

- For people who choose to render:  if at all possible (and you have experience in this sort of thing), try mixing various images together to create a whole pose (rather than just rendering over one from the film), and stick it onto a background, like so:

*Edit*

More information and rules:

- Please make sure the character is on his/her own in the picture

Please note: Many people can try for the same character - we will choose the picture best fitting for the character.

Thanks for your entry, Snowleopard. You've done well and it looks very nice Although, I have to tell you that I have already sent in Tally's page, using Troll's render. Sorry, maybe I should have mentioned that in the comments. I will put up a list of all the characters that are sent in, to make it easier. But if you are still interested in helping out, I am in need of pictures for Storm, Gray, Buffalo, some of the non-Indian humans and Clara. Thanks!

SnowLeop ard	September 13, 2016

I sent my entry for Tally! Oh, only after I sent it I realized how similar it is to your latest entry, Pawface. Sorry about that.

That would be super, Windhowler! I myself might try for Little Brook

Windhowl er	September 10, 2016

I'm going to attempt drawing Chief Snoring Bear, and maybe the Raccoon

Some of them take a while to upload (also I am not just sending in Game characters but the film characters also).

May I ask why only 3 of the horses have been uploaded? Mainly all of the horses have been tried for.

Hello, Bae Yes, this project is still open for entries. I am especially in need of pictures for the characters that have not yet been tried for, so if you are interested in doing those that would be great

Bae	September 05, 2016

Just wondering, when will the profiles go up? EDIT: Nevermind, they're up already. Do I still need to submit an entry or is this over?

I don't thionk Tally's one is bad, but anyway, I'll try posting human ones since they might be a problem for most of people.

Windhowl er	July 28, 2016

Voilà! I have submitted a drawing (on edited screenshot background) of The Farmer.

Windhowl er	July 25, 2016

Pawface: No problem! I think I'll also have a go at one of the human characters (the Farmer), and the rabbit.

Looks great, Windhowler! Thanks for entering!

Windhowl er	July 24, 2016

I have given Raphael a try, using a blend of two Spirit images.

Mustang: Thank you. SimNeBro and Troll: Thank you for your submissions; however (and perhaps I should have mentioned this before), the characters would be best on their own - as in Mustang's submission - to avoid any confusion. I've added some information to the project description (see *EDIT*)

SimNéBro	July 24, 2016

I just sent to Clara. I was having some problems to render it, so it took me to send the image. Sorry for the delay, I hope you like.

I've sent my pics of Tally and a group pic of Little Shoulders, Grey and Sierra, though There's an error on Little Shoulders - he shouldn't have socks.

I already did some of them at the time Blaze was adding the characters but she droped the project. I also have an unused pic for Storm, two design variants with head images and pic of Fern (another character from the books).

Joining. I dug out my copy of Forever Free the other day and even though it's a pretty simple game, it's really not a bad little way to pass the time. I'll do Tally, Little Shoulders, and Shadow. EDIT: Also, while the advice about blending screenshots together instead of sticking with a single frame is really good advice, you want to be careful that the proportions are correct for all of them. The example with Spirit up there looked fine on a small screen, but on my desktop, the head looks too big for the body.

SimNéBro	July 24, 2016

I'll totally join it! I'm doing Clara!
