My handsome stallion, Hakaro, is looking to redeem his fathers herd, and build it back up from the ruins. But he obviously needs your help.
 

About the herd:
The Sanctus Aureus herd is a serene, peaceful herd. Hakaro believes in inner peace, and hope from the heavens. So the herd is almost like a sanctuary, for the wounded, broken, lost, lonely or just in need of a place to call herd. The whole herd's Territory is hidden in a large bowl made of snow capped mountains, called the Aave Peek Mountains; which means almost no one can find it, which also means Hakaro has to send out patrols to scout the land for horses in need.
 

Extra information:
- The god they worship is called Sesmet (Meaning horse)

- The foals that aren't born by the Altainen river are called 'Silver Springs'Because silver comes after gold, so they are classed as lower ranks than the foals who are born by the Golden River.

- All foals are given a golden earring with a symbol on it, which represents their name. All but the Silver Springs.

-As a horse ages, they gradually gain more gold accessories.

- There is 2 gatekeepers in the herd, which are only used for the 'putting accessories on the horses at Ceremonies'.
 

Rules to Enter:
- Linearts are allowed.

-Every entry must have at least one bit of gold on it. Adults at least two, and foals: just an earring .

- No fighting, or complaining.

- Linearts are allowed (Make sure you credit the owner ^^)

- Realistic design.

- Already made characters are allowed, but if not, try and get them up within a week of entering :)

- Have fun with the designs, I do want to see unique designs, even though most of the judging will depend on bio ^^

- No horse can look exactly like Hakaro (Unless its his foal)
 

-If you enter, I do expect you to send in an entry, if you dont think it will be in soon, tell me through comment or PM, so I know that you havn't just entered and wont make an entry ^^ 

Subsections:
- Akhet Plains: The main Subsection, most of the herd stays here, all but the heavily pregenant mares, mares just given birth and foals from 6-16 weeks old. Akhet Plains means 'Horizon Plains' In English. The horizons are always vibrant colours, and are sometimes even splashed green and bright Cyan colours.

- Altainen River: The Golden River. This is one of the most sacred places in the herds territory, legends say that the horse god, Sesmet, dropped thousands of golden earrings into the river, and after millions of years, the gold wore off and turned the water a bright, vibrant gold colour. This is where all the foals are born, if they're not born here, they're classes unblessed. They aren't nessecarily treated worse, but just classed lower.

- Aave Peek Mountains: Another of the sacred places in the territory, The Aave Peek mountains are the snow capped mountains which surround the herds territory, making it a safe haven. The Aave Peek mountains is the place where all the deceased get buried, and their souls taken by Sesmet, and carried back up to the heavens. Every time a horse/foal is buried there, Southern lights light up the sky, which is what everyone says is Sesmet's spirit taking away the dead, and making them rise as the undead.

- Woods of Nialah: Meaning 'Woods of Succesful'. These woods are the place 1-2 year olds go, to begin to persue the rank they wish for when they're older. If they're blessed, they have more of a chance in getting a higher rank when they're old enough. All aprentices take a course in whatever rank they want, until they're 4 years old, and then they either leave the herd, or choose to prove to Hakaro that they are capable to being placed in the rank they studied for. If they pass the final test, they are officially in that rank.
 

Ranks: 

Leads: The leaders of the herd, the ones who make it all happen, and the ones who giud the herd in the right directions.

Second in Commands: Very important rank, the ones who help the leads make the hard decisions, and keep the herd in a proper order.

Hakaro's Offspring: Hakaro's prides and joys, Hakaro's offspring to benefit from being in his rare bloodline, and can sometimes be be favoured over the other foals.

Adopted foals: Hakaro loves adopting foals, especially the ones who need help, or a herd. Adopted foals won't be introduced to as important benifits as Hakaro's foals, but are still looked after and loved.

Soldiers: The soldiers are extremely important for the herd health and wellbeing, they stop intruders from getting into the lands, and also stop other herds raiding.

Scouts: The ones who alert the herd if theres any intruders, the scouts are very important. They collect herbs for the herd medicines, send messeges to other territories and keep the herds health up to date.

Apprentices: The 1-2 yr olds that are training to be a rank when they;re older, the colts and fillies must go through this training, unless they wish to be just a mare when they're older, or if they plan to leave the herd when they grow old enough.

Teachers: The ones who teach the apprentices the best they can, so they can be garunteed the rank they want.

Entertainers: The ones who, well, entertain the herd xD. These horses can be males and females, and usually dance, sing, and make jewelry from bones, the gold in the river, feathers and sometimes the Indian tribes make it for them.
