Welcome to the Middles Ages herd,

It'sa Herd based off the the times, figures, cultures, and leadership of  Historical-Fantasy-Fictional Middle ages, Renaissance, Dark ages, and Medieval times. It's seperated into various sub herds due tot he different areas of their land. You may right your own fanfictions about them if you so choose once you get into the herd, but you must PM first because the fanfictions cannot be stories based off of movies of anykind.

About the herd in Gerneral

•This herd is made up of several herds and Small "bands" and "Clans" if you will.

•Just like the times these horses and herds are based on, Lead mares and Stallions are called Queens and Kings, the"throne" will nto always go to the child of the king or queen.

•Just because a horse makes Kings and Queens must be mates, The King takes on more than one mate (like a real herd) these are called Mistresses

•Mistresses are the only one's whom can that foals that might oneday be the next king.

• You may create a story for your horse within the herd, and I will work around his or her story, when it comes to RPs and the Fanfiction, that way it seems more realistic if like war or something happens in the fanfiction and your character already has a life going on.

• The King over all the Herds is Edoras (making him) he hasn’t a queen yet you can apply for your mare to be his queen but it will be decided after the contest is over so make sure you have a back up Position for your mare.

• If ever you decide you no longer want your character PM me and I will set up an Adoption for him or her within the herd.

There are so far 4 Sub herds for this huge herd of old that have been located the others have not been found. each one made of different personalizes of horses. when filling out your  form & Bio please make sure you you pick out a fitting Herd for your character.

•  The Rohirrim Herd

Means “horse lords” they are the main sub herd, They are composed of those horses whom have the blood line of those horses whom founded the herd, they are all considered royalty of some sort.  These horses are proud and regal. Spots are: (if it’s not filled it’s Open)

•  The Camelot Herd

This herd is made up of lesser known families however have great fighters, and a ton heart, their numbers however are few and they haven’t a king or queen just a Steward Spots are: (if it’s not filled it’s Open)

•  The Elder Herd

This herd is made up Of wise and beautiful horses, they are unique in design and are rarely seen or called upon unless times are hard or war is at hand. Spots are: (if it’s not filled to its numbers capacity it’s Open)

•  The Wilds herd

This herd is made up of Ruthless and Untamed Horses, however they are loyal to there Kings and Queens and if called upon will answer, these horses dwell in the Mountains and in the Valleys the never stay in one place for long. Spots are: (if it’s not filled it’s Open)

If you find your character isn’t  quite ready for life in a herd above there are small clans that he or she may join.

•The Riverside Clan

This land is made up of mostly Poney’s and draft horses but other horses are allowed in as well, they are calm and friendly and love to have fun.

How to Join

First click the join button, then fill in the form & Bio, You must enter in a full body image of your character, you may use bases or blank renders as long as you credit the original artist. You must read and follow the following rules.

• Your characters must be Unique, meaning they cannot look like another horse in the herd

• Please try to stay away from typical horse patterns, they are allowed but it may not fit their desired herd.

• No Sparkle horses please, however horses with coat paterns of other animals (not birds or fish) are allowed.

• rolepaying is mandatory XD on here or on our up coming forum

• potty mouth stays in PM rolepays, I do realize back in these ages people did curse, but keep it in PMed roleplays please.

• Please keep Roleplays about the herd PG13

• don’t steal anyones character, art, or design

This bio took me forever even though it doesn't look like it ^^; i kept falling asleep on the keyboard D:. So i hope its okay!, if there is any changes i need just tell me ^^. Also if i need to take off the feather in her hair and band on her tail i will Name: Myrrine - Means Myth in Greek Gender: Mare Breed: Mytilene Age: 5 Personality: is super protective, Loving, Cares for others more than herself.She acts like she is everyones mother, which can get on some horses nerves but she doesn't care as long as their safe.She is Intelligent, Quiet, She is a bit of a paranoid horse as well, which causes her to be jumpy some of the time. Desired Herd: The Elder Herd, (if possible ^^; ). Desired Spot in herd: Midwife Is she trying for Edoras’ Mate: No, she isn't looking right now. She mostly cares for others, to make sure their healthy and happy. She never really thinks about herself. Why would she fit in this herd: There is very little known about her breed, but what is known is that They are Dainty gaited horses with a wide varity of coat colors. Myrrine would fit this herd because she is a Motherly horse to everyone, so she likes to keep everyone in line. She is wise and i do like her design, i think its different ^^.

Form Name: Edeva (Ede to very close friends, or Eva to others) name means expensive gift in Medieval times Gender: mare Breed: Arabian X Andalusian Age: 3yrs Personality: very headstrong and willing, can be wild natured and unpredictable, lonely, aggravated at her beauty and rank in the Edoras Herd (all the herds), likes her ability to push stallions around Desired Herd: the Wilds Herd, but longs to be equal with the Rohirrim Herd Desired Spot in herd: a shield maiden and trainer Is she trying for Edoras’ Mate: she hasnt ever seen Edoras but imagines him to be handsome, strong, and without fault (so I guess she has a minor crush on him, ) Why would she fit in this herd: she is ruthless and wild, but deep down inside she is a lady waiting to be tamed (fill out a Breif History): Edeva's parents had a very tight bond and her father was the most respectable and wise horse in the Wilds Herd. Her father was out fighting for Edoras when her mother was giving birth. He died in battle, hence her name. For no price could be put on her. She was priceless in her mother's eyes. And she had the dark coat and the unique facial marking of her father. Edeva grew up hearing of her father's braveness and loyalty. When she came of age she desired a stallion like her father, but none of her rank stallions met her idea. She then heard more about Edoras and he sounded just like her father. She immediately fell for her fantasy stallion. She hadnt even seen him and already loved him. She thinks she is silly for liking him and feels lonely alot, even though literally every Wilds Herd stallion is head over heels about her. She trains yearlings and is working her way up in the ranks of shield maiden. Whe enjoys her job because it takes her mind off of her loneliness.

History: She was born in a small herd, and her parents where the descendents of the first royal family of horses. She was taught at a young age to be regal. Filly years: She was a beautiful filly, with a champange dun coat. She had a beautiful pure white mother with a wavy mane. Her father was a buckskin and the king of their herd. She was the 'princess' of the herd. Her mother would take her off everyday since she turned 1. She would start her royalty lessons from about dawn and go to dusk. She would always come back tired, but always practicing on her way back. When she was taught to keep her head up, she did so all the way back to their sleeping area. At 2 years old, she was more mature than most modern fillys her age. She was an elegant 2 1/2 year old and was helping all the pregnant mares and keeping them company throughout their pregnacy. Mare: When she turned 4, she left her herd and left with her head up. She headed into the wild, and decided to head to the Middle Ages herd, a famous herd with sub-herds and clans. She soon met a stallion named Edoras, who invited her to live with him in the sub herd Rohirrim. She decided to win him over. She acted regal around him and would always be nice. She hops to be his mate. While being in Rohirrim herd, she had a foal, a pretty dun filly. She taught her filly all the rules of being regal, exactly how she was taught by her mother. Her filly grew up and left the herd for her own life. She is still hoping to be Edoras's mate.
