okay hey all this is my first Herd project, ive entered herds before so now i want to make my own, My stallion Antique who is my first Grey Dapple,(who i adore) wants to make his own herd since he has left the Cimmeron Herd.  He had decided to call the herd Edele Valk which means "Noble Falcon" In Dutch. Antique promises to treat all his mares as equal and to never ever let anything happen to them.

Threats- Since they live in the wide open, there are many threats. Cougars will often try and come after the young foals and the mares. There is always a threat of man, but thats what the forest is for.

Territory-The Edele Valk Herd live in a grassy meadow with a forest and a riverbank and a plain but the only cover they have is the woody area next to the meadow. The North end is as far as his herd may go, no one is allowed to cross the river wthout permission from the lead stallion or lead Mare.  The river goes through the whole area, and it ends at the plains where the foals like to play.

The Grassy meadow where the mares graze

The grassy Plains where the foals like to play and where Antique can watch them

The green forest where the mares tend to stay during hot nights. That is part of the river no one can cross without permission from Antique or his mate

Here you go; got a mare for you ^^ Name: Brown Beauty (normally called Brownie) Age: 10 Breed: Morgan Gender: Mare Personality: Brownie is a sweet, obedient mare that adores companionship. She gets very worked up and afraid whenever she's alone, so she greatly appreciates the comfort and safety of a herd. How he or she met the herd/: Brownie became so afraid on her own that she bolted through the forest and almost collided with a dapple grey stallion on the other side. Her heart pounding, she begged him to stay with her: she was tired and fed up of being alone. The stallion reassured her and took her to his small but growing herd. As Brownie settled down she began to realise that it would be nice to be a part of a herd and have lots of horses around her again, and the grey stallion, Antique, seemed like a kind horse. Brownie chose to stay with his herd, happy and secure now that she was surrounded by other horses once again. History: Brownie was a cavalry mare, until Spirit and Little Creek broke out the fort, releasing some of the horses with them. Brownie was amongst the horses released by Spirit, and she wandered on her own for a while before meeting Antique What Rank they would prefer: Mare
