Rules:

-No fighting over ranks

-Painting Freedom likes all colours and breeds

-You can use linearts but credit the original artist

-Any breed is allowed for any rank

-MAKE SURE YOU SEND IN BIO'S, if the bios arent sent in within a week of the entries, they wont get a chance. Sorry but too many times has it happened that people have sent in their entries but never the bios.

-If any of your mares within the herd want a foal with Painting Freedom , theres no need to ask just make the colt/fillie and i'll add them to the herd project ^^

-Your entries may not have mates outside of the herd, they can have crushes outside but not mates please

Ranks you can try for:

-Heir to the herd's Mate: This is the spot Im gonna be VERY picky about. The mare will have to tollerate Legacy's immature bahavour and end up changing him into a gentleman

-Guard Stallions: These are the only stallions allowed in the herd, they protect the herd with everything they've got . They can take one mate each.

-Medicine horses: The rank of horses who make medicine, sing and dance for the herd and look after the pregenant mares, they are into accessorising and are always mares, they can take one mate each.

-Messengers: The small rank of messengers are actually a very important one, they deliver special news from The Citadel herd to the tribe horses, cavalry horses and other herds. They sometimes travel long distances to deliver news.

- Elders: Are the older horses, they tell stories and give wisdom to any horse that seeks it

-Apprentices: These are the yearlings basically, they have no choice but to train for a rank that they'll be placed into when they are old enough, the colts are instantly trained for Soldiers but the fillies have more of a variety to choose from.

-regular mares: They are just the regular mares of the herd, they do play an important role though. Keeping Freedom's bloodlines going, they may only breed with Painting Freedom.

Name:Saffron Breed: Kinger Mustang/Quarter Horse Rank Trying for:Mare how they met Painting Freedom, Mali or Fleedom's Legacy:Saffron met Painting Freedom's son Hadley in her adventure and Hadley is the one who led her to his father's herd. Personality:Saffron is a sweet, funloving mare who even though she escaped from captivity, doesnt really like to share her secrets. She can be mysterious at times, but she had a deep affection for foals as she adopted one when she was in captivity but it was killed by humans. Since that day she has had a deep hatred for them Willing to adopt foals: (If its a mare):Yes short bio:Saffron was born in captivity to one of the Quarter horses in the keep. When her owner saw her, he knew immediatly that Saffron was part Mustang, he separated her from her mother and put her in a pen by herself. Saffron didnt know what to do without her mother. She had just been born, Her owner was cruel to her and somehow Saffron survived. When Spirit was brought to the keep, Saffron was a yearing, still not listening to her owner. She hated men with a passion until they gave her a young foal by the name of Sage. Sage was a wild child and no one could tame the little colt, and the Colonel sencing it would be a problem shot him in cold blood. Saffron was very heartbroken and when Spirit and Little Creek broke out she followed him. She soon met Hadley a young stallion wandeirng around. Hadley senced she needed help and told him of his father and a herd where she would be safe.

Name:Kahlua Breed: Criollo Rank Trying for: Messenger/Mare how they met Painting Freedom, Mali or Fleedom's Legacy: Kahlua was taken to the cavalry fort when her master was arrested for murder. When Spirit set the horses free, she was among them. Revelling in her new found freedom, she wandered freely, alone, until she came across a piebald stallion called Painting Freedom. Deciding that she’d quite like to be in a herd, she joined him Personality: Kahlua is a sweet, happy-go-lucky mare with a positive outlook on life. She loves nothing better than skipping around in the sunshine, but she takes her responsibilities seriously and never shirks her duties to go off and play. She has incredible stamina and endurance, typical of her breed, and she’s nimble and light-footed in everything she does. Willing to adopt foals: (If its a mare) Yes short bio: Kahlua was born in Mexico and raised as a cowboy’s horse. When she was broken in she was taken across the border and sold in America, where her poor master could get more money for his horses. However, not long after she was bought her master was shot dead in an argument at the local tavern, and his killer took her for his own horse. He was pursued by the law until, eventually, he ran into the cavalry and was arrested. Kahlua was confiscated and taken to the army barracks, where they intended to turn her into a cavalry mount. The very next day a dunskin mustang was brought into the fort. Eventually he managed to break free, releasing a load of the army horses with him. Kahlua was among the liberated horses.
