Sorrow. Regret. Journey.: (Title will change. It's the best I can come up with so far)
Perhaps it was the chilly night, or the half moon that shone brightly. Maybe it was just that time of year. Somehow, possibly, it might have been both. Whatever the cause, something urged the brown mare to wake in the middle of the night, laboring. Sweat made her stringy mane to stick to her neck. She silently stood, but her attempts to stay quiet failed. Her mate shook his head, and then looked at her.
Perhaps it was the fatherly instinct implanted into every male. Maybe it was the frantic look in Starlight’s eyes. Somehow, possibly, it might have been both. Whatever the cause, something made the stallion’s eyes widen, shaking. Hurriedly, he rose, stray pieces of grass clinging to his ruffled gray fur. He stood by the mare’s side, leading her to their planned nursery.
Perhaps it was only the known experience. Maybe it was just the noises echoing against the firm ground. Somehow, possibly, it might have been both. Whatever the cause, something caused the sorrel stallion to wake instantly from his slumber, eyes blinking open and shut. His muzzle brushed lightly on the clumps of grass as his head swayed from lack of sleep. Snapping awake, he clumsily stood tall and erect, then followed Shawn and Starlight. Word count so far: 1,862
Holding on: The story about a young man named Percy Farasi who travels in the wilderness everywhere to keep away from attaching from anyone, as he is afraid of losing them. But when he is kicked by a frightened horse, he loses his memory. He then tries to go and find it. Word count so far: 4,211
Searching for the Eagle: (All of the details are not yet in place, so this may change) Ever since Spirit returned from his grand adventure and brought back Rain, things have changed between him and the Eagle. (who I will be renaming Nicholas for fear of over using the word eagle) More details to come as I establish the story. Word count so far: 196
Constructive critisism is allowed, as I want to try to improve and I want to know what the majority wants more or less of.

Also: I think you should write a poem about Esperanza (I guess that's Spirits mom's name; I've never read the books).
