Personality: Songbird is a simple mare to those who first met her. Her shy yet outgoing temperament often draws others to her but she has a hard time trusting humans and even other horses. Because of this lack of trust she finds it really hard to make good friends. While she does love meeting new people and isn't easily impressed. Sure Songbird seems simple but under the surface she is different from most. She has patience miles long and handles difficult times well while she does have a nasty temper when you insult her ways, family or friends. She also take loyalty to heart and doesn't forgive betrayal.

            Songbird does stand up for herself and will often find her putting herself in a situations that she could get hurt. So she seems rather not so fun but Songbird loves to play. Water games being her favorite of all time. She known too just suddenly become in the mood to play. Never staying one place Songbird comes across many horse and orphaned foals that she will take in and find new homes for she normally never keeps them but she did keep one.

Likes: There are so many things that Songbird loves. Water is one of her all times favorites. She will play in it whenever she has the chance too. Foals are another thing she just adores and loves being around. She simply can't help herself when it come to them. Friends, now that is something she wishes she had more of for she loves being around them and enjoy those simple things in life. Another thing to make it on her list is that she likes to flirt and tease stallions.

Dislikes: Now this is the hard part there really not much she hates or dislikes but forceful stallions really aren't for her. She also doesn't like fire or when others get hurt. She also hates those who would abandon foals.

Fears: She fears the dark nights when the moon she gone, Death is also one of her most greatest fears as well as illness and losing those who meaning everything to her.

Thorburn: After the first time that she met the small orphaned colt she knew that he had reached a place in her heart that she never thought anyone would reach. She took him under her wing and raised him as her own. She has a close bond with him.

Stella: She met this lovely mare when she visited the village she lived in. She had been there when she was betrayed by her best friend.

History:

            Songbird was born into a very small herd with her mother. She was the smallest foal born in the herd which made her a target of the other foals. However she didn't care what the other foals thought of her. She would ignore the other foals when they said mean thing about her. When she became a yearling her life took a turn. Songbird had wondered off to a stream to play but when she came back to where her herd had once been it was gone. Everyone who had been in herd was gone and there was no sign of them anywhere. At first she didn't think they had left her behind she thought maybe something happened and they had to leave. She wondered for hours, days and even months trying to find them but came across nothing.

            Not know what to do she took all of the knowledge her mother had taught in the short time she had been with them. She was careful and traveled from place to place. Along the way she met a few orphan foals that she helped find a new home. (more soon.....)
