~Pandora~
My mother, the only mare I truly love. She tried to guide me throughout my whole life, she was always there for me. She was taken from me by a coward and I will fight and search all my life to get her back
~Isabella~
Pretty little Isabella thought she could actually help me, I'll never know where she got the idea, such a strange mare. I never expected her to stay around for so long, though, I was quite impressed by her determination.
~Ghost~
I can't remember what he looked like but everything else I remember like it was yesterday. I'll do anything to find the Ghost again, anything.
~The Albino~
A stallion I heard of that peaked my interest. All I know of him comes from one mare and she didn't know a lot, sadly. I do believe he might be linked to Ghost
~Spirit and Rain~
I like the mare, she's so fragile and scares easily. Sadly the golden stallion does rarely leave her side. I'm not afraid of stallions, at all, but Spirit might just be an exception. He's a lot stronger than he looks, trust me when I say that.
~Caligula~
A mare I met while traveling and I guess you could say we got along well. She's just a mare, nothing different from all the other mares I met, she didn't support my actions either, still I liked her. I was disappointed when she left with the two annoying stallions that we crossed paths with earlier.
I was born in your everyday herd, my dam; Pandora was a low ranked mare. I was the result of a little 'adventure' my mom had with a rogue stallion that passed her herd. Luckily the lead stallion is an idiot and he didn't notice anything, even when I turned out to look nothing like him, personality and color-wise.
I didn't really socialize with any of the foals in the herd, Pandora was really all I needed. I was the target for some mean pranks, they were quite hurtful then, but it was mere child's play. I frequently yelled they would regret everything someday. And regret they did.
The Ghost
When others ask me if there is a reason I became 'this way' I tell them there is none, that I was born like it. I'm a good liar, if I may say so myself.
When I was about one year old, it happened. Our lead stallion warned his mares and fillies about HIM, it never even crossed his tiny mind that HE could steal colts as well.
It was starting to get dark and the mares rounded up the foals to get ready for the night, the lead stallion had some extra horses guarding the place, but HE slipped past them, like a ghost. He managed to guide me and a filly away without anyone noticing his presence.
I guess that's why they call him The Ghost.
Ghost took us to a small clearing in the dense woods that our herd used to graze by. There were some other fillies and a young stallion but I didn't care, I was interested in HIM. Ghost had always fascinated me, from the moment the news about the 'evil stallion' spread. I stood still for a while puzzling all the pieces together. While I stood there Ghost was thoroughly inspecting me, when I noticed I didn't dare move, so I kept still, my eyes following his movements. He moved away to inspect the filly he took with him as well, I followed him. He asked her her name, you could barely hear it but she uttered "Isabella". That was the first time I actually saw her, she was very large for a filly, but the way she carried herself made her look so weak. I hate it when she looks that weak.
I followed Ghost around for some days when that dreadful lead stallion of ours 'saved' me and Isabella. Ghost didn't even fight back, I was disappointed in him at first but then I realized it had to be a test, I had to find Ghost myself, if I succeeded Ghost would allow me to stay and let me be his apprentice. I'm sure of it
We got back to our grazing ground and I was reunited with mom, probably the only good thing about being back. Her reaction and that of the herds baffled me, though. The were all over me and Isabella, asking us if we were OK, if they could do anything and that they were oh so sorry. Why would they be sorry? I had never been so happy in my life! Isabella was still being weak, she cried a lot the for a long time and she never left her mothers side. I still can't believe her, why wasn't she thankful to be chosen by The Ghost?
A friend
By now I was getting a lot bigger, some mares told me the lead stallion was getting a bit afraid of me, I liked it a lot. Pandora had been busy trying to get some of the other youngsters to talk to me, I didn't like the idea but mom insisted. All of them laughed at her and walked away, except Isabella, she was probably afraid she would hurt Pandora's feelings. Pandora liked her, she thought we would bond quickly because we went through the 'Ghost accident' together. She couldn't have been more wrong, but since it was mom's idea I still gave it a shot.
I allowed her to follow me around, like Ghost had allowed me. She seemed to like it, she probably even thought she was gaining my trust, silly mare. She never stopped following me, it didn't matter what I said to her, she stayed. She annoys me so much.
General
One day the lead stallion asked me if I would help him fight of some rogues, I said yes.
This was the first time I actually fought, it felt great. We beat the stallions to pulp, and by we I mean I, our great leader watched me.
Right after he asked me if I wanted to fight for him a bit more, like being one of the the herd's guards, I said yes again.
The other guards were unsuitable, to say the least. The main guard magically 'disappeared' one day after we went on patrol in the forest and the others were easily convinced I should be the new main guard, naïve idiots.
Bad news
I tried to scare Isabella away, I made her life as miserable as I possibly could but she just wouldn't leave. When she told me she thought she was pregnant I nearly killed her but, Pandora interfered just before I could knock her out. Pandora got mad with me for the first time, I wasn't pleased, of course. Me a father? Nope.
I told Isabella to go with me on a little walk and let's just say I was the only one that came back.
Some mares saw through it and confronted me, they all disappeared over night.
Wilhelm, our mighty and incredibly smart lead stallion ordered me to fight of a few rogues who were bothering his mares. I did and came back only to see empty land, he had left with the herd.
He took my mother.
I'm coming
The next thing I did was obviously trying to find my mom, and maybe kill Wilhelm while on it.
I set out on a long and rather uneventful journey. I met some mares and stallions on the way, we travel together for a while and then they leave again, I like the company and it's not a bad way of living. A mare once told me about an insane stallion called The Albino. The Albino, The Ghost? That thought swirled around my mind all the time. I decided to look for him too, just to be sure. He sounds like Ghost. I just find it interesting that there are more like Ghost.
The Cimarron
On my search for both my mother and the Albino I came across a lone paint mare in the woods. I followed her and scared her a bit, just for fun. She ran away from me and I followed her to her herd, which wasn't the best decision I made in my life. Her mate turned out to be pretty protective over her. A golden buckskin stallion ran up to me and we started fighting. I'm not bad at fighting but this wasn't a fair fight, he could've crushed me with sheer willpower. He must love that mare a lot.
All that didn't keep me from staying around though. I really like the mare, if following her around means getting beaten by Spirit then that's fine, it's not hard to get used to.
(More to come)
Relation to Spirit: See bio ^ ^ ^
Fillip's father is also Esperanza's brother
