Bio~

Altair was born in the "Old West",like his father,Spirit. From the moment of his birth,he was known to be a fighter. He grew very much, and very fast at that, over time. When he was just around 1 year old,he took on a lynx. His father had gone to round up a few foals, but Altair new better, andstayed with the herd.A lynx jumped out to attack a sleeping mare, and he jumped out in front of it and fought it off until it was down, heavily breathing, soon to be dead.his father was so very proud of him,and he new he was to become a great stallion. His size progressed and so did his "muscles",and he was the ultimate stallion. His time came when he had to leave the herd, and either fight a stallion for it's herd,or start his own.He did not dare fight his dad for the Cimarron herd, because even though he "muscley",he was still not as good as his father. He tried to steal some other stallions herds, but gave up because it was pointless(he thought) He was a loner, trying to find some mares to join his herd. He,known as a loner for a short time span, found a mare, another loner, walking by herself one day.She joined his soon to become herd, not just because she didnt want to be alone, but because she was attrackted to him. They found a nice place to "raise"there herd, and had some foals. Those foals were part of there herd too, unless they were males,so they would leave.Once they found or had many mares in thee herd, they moved to another place, because the area they were in was losing grass, and the mares needed grass when they were in gestation, and they would not wait for it to grow back. Now they are in a big, wide area, which would last them a long, long time. And Altair, still the Herd Leader,is happy with how his life has turned out o far.
