Personality: Kind, firm, quiet, thoughtful, independent, motherly, fair, when riled she is, well, let’s just say that a wildfire is like a spark comparatively.

History:

Kona is the daughter of Glare and Tecumpsah, and the sister of Felize. Kona and her father Tecumpsah had a very close relationship. She and her family enjoyed hanging out by the Indian village and Strider's herd and she, Felize, and Spirit played together. Kona and Spirit weren't very close. Kona thought of Spirit as boastful and a showoff. However, they got along and had some adventures while they were young. Kona enjoyed going off into the woods and playing with the forest animals as well. She gained a great respect for how things are connected and viewed the world as a place you borrow and take care of rather than a place you are given to do whatever with. As a result of this way of thinking many foals didn't understand her. She tended not to play games such as "stomp the bug" and "chase the squirrel". She grew up almost entirely alone except for her family and Spirit.  When she was old enough she left her herd and journeyed on. On the way, she kept meeting Spirit again and again. She knew Spirit and Little Creek were in the fort and made sure that the other Indians knew as well. Kona also made sure the door was open from the outside so Spirit would have an easier time getting out. In the end, she ended up getting caught when Spirit was freed. Kona eventually got out and wandered the forests and meadows. One night, she stumbled uppon a thicket and decided to rest there for the night. When she woke up, she was staring face to face with a grulla-blue roan stallion. Quickly getting up, Kona appologised if she had slept in the stallions territory. The stallion explained that he was traveling himself after getting kicked out of his herd. The two decided to travel together and finally got back to Kona's herd. Her father, Tecumpsah, was wary at first of the young stallion, however Kona introduced them and all went well. The stallion, named Darkened Star, became Kona's mate. They have one daughter, Kiri and all is going well.
