Obsession: The feeling of blankets on his back when ridden
Fear: Scared to drop children
Favorite foods: Apples and fresh grown vegetables
Enjoys: Taking walks around the Lokota village, being around mares, playing with children, being ridden, being painted, dawn and dusk, swimming in the stream, being around campfires with his friends, solving puzzles or mysteries, being rewarded, the glow of the stars, the season of autumn, light drizzles
Loathes: extremely cold weather, children being scared of him, getting paint in his eyes, too much mud, the feeling that mares dislike him, gunshots, the calvery, his mane being cut, snow, seeing something die or become ill, other animals, cocky stallions, being tied up around the limbs, cracks of thunder
Persona: A unique and valuable stallion. Keeps to himself when he isn't around children or close friends. Doesn't trust new comers until he knows they are safe. An absolute lover of young children, two-legged or foals alike. Nearly nothing can anger him besides cocky or self-centered stallions. Not a big flirt due to his shy nature, will likely just smile and keep a distance. If a mare approaches him he becomes baffled and tends to mumble off. Spends most of his time either walking around the village or taking a swim in the stream. Hates cold weather due to the scar on his nostril that stings whenever low temperature is breathed in. Thinks instantly on his hooves and strays away from no dangerous situation, compliments to his foal and colthood at the calvery.

History
No Light Left
Born into the dusty and ruthless life of a calvery horse, Elek was taken away from his mother several hours after his birth, like any horse who was born into this equine prison. He was a strong and sturdy foal, able to stand and walk faster than any other foal who was born that season. Even after being taken away so quickly, Elek was able to remember his mother's face and voice as he was being dragged away to his own stable, wondering why his mother had such a devestating face. It was unknown to him that his mother, a brood mare, would most likely never see him again. Elek was confident and submitting to his early training, easily taking and order or request the soldiers gave him. Even if they used whips, he never lost his temper or refused a command, simply to evade further harm, which other young colts didn't seem to understand. By the time Elek was large enough to ride, he was one of the best colts in his training group, other males giving him smug looks, while some gave him stares of astonishment as to why he obeyed every single order. Elek never talked to any other horse during his childhood, but simply remained to himself, staring off into the desert canyons. With such a dreary life of misery, the colt felt as if there was something so much better out there for him, but he was too obediant to flee from his home. A day came when Elek was nearly as his full height when he heard irregular shouts and neighs coming from near the mare's stables. Peeking out, Elek's mouth dropped as he recognized his mother being dragged forcibly into the open. The still rather young mare was suffering from a brain tumor for quite some time, and the colonel finally decided there was no longer any need for her. He pulled out a gun while another man kept her still with a rope, although there was no need since she herdly knew to struggle. "Mama!" Elek cried repeativly, this name the only way he knew how to address his mother. The mare gave the colt a glance, but her memory of her son was completely shattered, causing Elek's heart to sink as she didn't even think to look in his direction. Elek lowered his head against the stable door, tears streaming down his cheek and creating a small puddle under his hooves as the loud, crackling sound of a gunshot split his ears. Raising his neck, Elek watched his mother be dragged away to who-knows-where the deceased horses go. The colt pinned his ears flat against his head. There was no more light in her eyes.
New Beginnings
A few weeks after his mother's death, Elek was no longer the obedient mount he used to be. He refused to go near any soldier with a gun, and when he was ridden, not a single order would be obeyed, even with whips or spurs. It was at this time when the colonel was trying to break a new horse known as Spirit, the stallion's strong will and refusal to ebey just sparking Elek's rebellious actions even more. When the colonel pulled a gun to Spirit's head and the stallion escaped with the dark toned two-legged, Elek took the chanse and galloped out of the gate, the fresh with and air completely erasing his horrid memories of the calvery in nearly an instant. But there was something out this two-legged, his clothing, his smell, his voice, that just made Elek want to know more. When Spirit was captured once again by the indians, Elek halted and trotted his way after the group, happily accepting the rather soft ropes around his neck as he was guided to the Lakota village. Once they reached the village by dusk, Elek was instantly in awe in the vast and beautiful homeland, and what unbelievable smells and colors came from this place. Elek knew - in his heart and mind - that this was his true home.
Rising From the Ashes
Elek couldn't get enough of the simplicity and feeling on family from his new home. He was now given two feathers in his hair, both dyed a calm yellow to represent the Sun and the warmth and courage he gives others. Markings were also painted over his right eye, a usual ritual to accept new horses into the tribe. Elek also grew and extrememly close bond to the children on the village, letting them paint whatever they desire on his coat, along with letting them mount him freely. Their innocence and purity turned Elek into a selfless and valiant stallion, swearig to lay his life out for any one of these children - or anyone in the tribe for that matter. He was yet to meet a mare that he desired, many were attractive, yes, but Elek was too shy to confront these mares, so he strayed away until he knew he found that special someone. Light drizzles during the autumn was what Elek enjoyed the most, it's cool and fefreshing feeling washing all the memories of the dry and barren canyons out of his mind. Elek doesn't leave the village or stream much other than being a mount for children during walks on trails, but that's how the young stallion prefers it. Elek only wishing to stay inside the village for the rest of his life, providing the two-leggeds with comfort, seeking onlly a family in return.
(Not the best history, I know, but I'm kinda tired from writing and didn't have much creativity in me, so I guess more will be added once he gains crushes/friends/etc ^^ )
