H I S T O R Y

Wind was born in the calvary by two prized horses, they were more than sure he'd be worth a lot of money as a work horse or a show horse. Even more so as a calvary horse. they were planning on sending him as a gift to the president of the united states as a gift. however when Wind was a yearling, the lakota indains stole him from the calvary and took him in as thier own horse. Win was happier at the Tribe, however they quickly noticed that the calvary men were fools as they hadden't noticed that this yearling was very ill. Wind had never thought his eye site was bad because he was born that way, but he had to strain to see thing clearly and eventually he would lose his eyesite altogether. Not only that Wind's bone were weak, and his body temperature was always low. His muscles here weak and he was easily tired out. even with all of this wrong he grew up to be a beautiful and confident colt. at two years of life he loved his life and the world around him. his weak and bad health never stopped him from anything he wanted to do. Wind wasn't strong but he grew up to be very wise.

When wind was 3 an older stallion black in color was wandering around the tribe, he said he could see the wild in Wind, and told wind to join him in his herd. Wind was quickly amazed by this stallion he seemed to know everything just with the ora around him. Wind left with the stallion his name was strider. strider taught Wind about wild horses, and herds how they were run. how to survive, and friend for himself, even with all of his weakness'. Wind looked up to strider as his older brother and hero. strider said he had once left his family behind and longed to see them again, but he could not face them and told Wind that if he ever found a true family to never leave there side. Wind thought that strider was that family. until that fateful day.

The mares in striders herd began to talk, they wanted wind to take over as lead. yes they knew he was weak but they thought he was wiser and they fawned over him like young fillies over foal hood crushes. Wind never had a thought in his heart about overthroughing strider. bu strider began to worry, He lead wind into a trap and wind was caught by the calvary. Wind was heartbroken at the betrayal and confsed to no end. He wouldn't eat and got weaker and weaker while in the calvary, so much so they were just going to kill him. however one of the soldierd took pitty on him and set him free into the wild. Wind laid in the grass not wanting to go on, he had never felt such hurt within his overly trusting heart. He hated the pain and clouded it over like his blue eyes and callused any love he had for his former friend strider. However he did not seek revenge. He knew better. Wind wandered off on his own, looking for his purpose.
