Personality: Calmer than his other cousins, more of the one to hang around in the background of a group and listen to everything. Very attentive, has a good sense of humor, once its arroused. Very protective of his familia. Takes on the bad boy appearance. Easily annoyed.

Likes: being with his cousins, pranking them, his solitude, protecting his cousins, water

Dislikes: being crowded in, jerks, alot of mares, being saddled with a mare (by his cousins)

"¿Quién? Me? Soy tan inofensivo como una mariposa!" (Who? Me?! I'm as harmless as a butterfly!)

Bio:

Like his cousins he was born in Mexico, land of the cactus and the dry heat. He never cared for his parents as they were never there and he was actually raised by a surrogate mother. He ended up separating himself from every horse he knew, except for Traivs. Then he met up with a few more of his cousins and grew close to them as well.

Travis is very important to him, since they acted as blood brothers from the time they found each other, nothing and no-one could come between them. Even mares (for Rio) can't even splice their brotherly bond. They watch each other's backs and get each other out of trouble, which comes quite often with the gang. 

When his cousins go around to fiestas he hangs back on the outskirts, keeping his head on his shoulders in case he needed to intervene in anything. He doesn't like getting too involved in anything.

When Travis told him of his idea of goin off and away from Mexico he was supportive and followed Travis there. Standing as his right-hand guy the whole way. The battle with Spirit was bloody, but Rio was eager to release pent up energy, for in Mexico he almost either broke up or got into a fight every day. His hardy build and fit healthy body aids himself and the gang.
