Dislikes: Rain (the horse), humans, hunting dogs, too much heat, stuck up mares, cocky stallions

Personality: is kind and caring toward her brother and mother but gets very..... lets say 'female like' when she sees a stallion. Legend is a natural fighter and sticks to her beliefs stubbornly. She, like Spirit, refuses to be broken.

History:

 Legend is Spirits twin sister and has loved Spirit all her life. Legend suffered the worst without her farthers influence and always wandered what happened to him. When Spirit was captured by the two legs Legend had gone after him only to be captured by a clan of Indians (not the Dakota) and was kept in a large fenced off clearing. She became friends with an Indian horse named Iron Will. After two months of the two legs trying to tame her- much to Iron Wills' amusment, a war horn sounded. Legend was confused and decided to try and jump the high fence, after a few trys to scale it Legend finally made it over and ran through the woods to a hill. Below her she could see pale two legs attacking the dark two legs.

After the attack Legend and Iron Will were caught by the humans. Everyone else was dead. The two legs tried to tame Iron and Legend. But Legend is like her brother and Iron Will earned his name. One night Iron Will escaped from the stables and set Legend free. The two of them were trying to figure out how to get out of the fort when the sentry saw them and sent for more men to catch the two horses. Iron Will was shot trying to keep the men from catching Legend.

After that Legend didnt think or feel. The colenal of that fort broke Legend and she became his favourite horse. One day when the colenal was riding her through the woods she heard her rider call out, "welcome back son." Legend raised her eyes but didnt raise her head (she permenantly kept her head down since Iron died) and she saw a tall black haired human riding a black horse with green eyes and white streaks in his black mane, trotting toward them. While the two legs spoke The black horse whos' name was Halt introduced himself.

On another ride Legend was bone tired from running and hunting down dark two legs all day. She decided enough was enough and suddenly reared and rolled on her back to throw the rider off. Once he was off her she bolted toward the dark forests. Legend was surprised to find Halt had also thrown off his rider and was following her.

Legend and Halt spent their time scaling the mountains after that. When they got to the other side of the mountains they had to look out for Indians and more colinisers. Soon Legend and Halt made it back to the herd. A few days later Spirit got back to the herd, along with Rain. Rain hated Legend for no apparent reason and so they fought often, especialy physicaly in these fights Legend always won. Soon Legend was in foal to Halt.
