Elladan

“Ell” 

Personality: Elladan can be a very difficult stallion to handle. He loves brutal honesty, emphasis on “brutal”. Despite being ambitious and a social climber, he is not the most responsible. On occasion he’s been shown to be two faced and can be vengeful. Ell can be charming but only to those whom he cares for. 

Likes: cool breezes, cloudy skies, the wet season, Este, causing trouble, eating berries. 

Dislikes: chirping birds in the morning, Cedar (the stallion), losing, being subservient. 

Story: Born into Cedar’s herd, Elladan was always a bit of an outcast. He wasn’t related to Cedar and was relentlessly picked on as a foal. Elladan grew up to dislike Cedar and most of his brood, though for a time he happened to become friends with Strider. Elladan was oftentimes the one causing the arguments between Strider and Cedar, exaggerating truths and pushing both stallions against each other. Elladan hoped that by putting the two against each other he would be able to keep them busy as he took over the herd. This plot did not work, and when Strider was lost in the flood and Cedar found out what Elladan had been trying to do, he banished the stallion from the herd. As a last jab at Cedar, Elladan convinced Cedar’s most beloved daughter, Este, to leave the herd with him.
