Relation: One of the first members of the heard. Strider and Esperanza are her best friends. 

History: Abbey grew up with Espernza and Strider. Their homeland was extremely dangerous. There was little for them to hide, cliffs and fast moving water. Strider had saved Abbey's life multiple times due to bears and Wolves sneaking into the heard at night. 

When they were Adults Esperanza, Strider, Abbey and a few others left to find a safer home. They found lots of new members for their heard on the way to finding a new place to live. Esperanza and strider had fallen in love. Abbey too felt like she was in love, only her partner left when he found out that she was pregnant. 

Eventually they foound a place where everyone would be safe. They were happy. One night there were humans around. Strider, wanting to keep his pregnant Esperanza and new heard safe, decided to try and chase them away. He never came back. 

Abbey decided to help her friend Esperanza through her grief and pregnancy, as she was also pregnant. Abbey had her foal first, a mostly grey foal. Being good friends, Abbey and Esperanza's Foals grew up being friends too. Although Spirit often got the to in trouble.
