History
Machau was born in the Lakota tribe and lived their his whole life. He grew up loving the people of his tribe and trusting humans. He was known for being very smart compared to many of the other horses and was often praised by his mother. His younger brother, Radnor, became jealous of Machau and began to act out to get Machau into trouble. However, Radnor began to mature into a noble stallion as he found being jealous ofhis brother served him unwell.
Machau began to gain a crush on a mare named Valen early on in his life. He would often chase her as a yearling but Valen would often reject him. Although he was known for his wisdom, Machau became dumber when he was flirting around Valen and would often stumble on his words. Valen's rejections never put him down but he decided to wait a while before he tried again.
A few years past and Valen began to like Machau back. Not long after, Machau and Valen became mates and soon had two daughters named Chante and Zahra. He was very close to his new family and loved his daughters dearly. However, Chante began to feel distance towards her tribe and after a conflict with her sister she ran away. Machau was heartbroken at this as he never got to say bye and would never see his daughter again.
A while later a stallion by the name of Spirit was brought in by the tribe. Machau was facinated by the wild stallion and proceeded to get to know him. He got along well with Spirit and shared much of his wisdom with the buckskin. When the Lakota was attacked by the Cavalry, Machau fought for his tribe with great strength. He was left with only a few wounds however, his mate Valen, was shot and killed. This left Machau helpless as he only had his daughter Zahra left.
Machau managed to remain the same warm-hearted stallion he was but he was still noticably miserable.
