History
Isla was born into a small herd, around 7 horses. They were small but close knit. Their homeland was close to Spirit’s herd and they were foal hood friends. They were very similar. Both slight trouble makers. Spirit more so. There was a slightly older foal in her herd. His name was Ezra and he became their good friends, as they where the only two foals in the herd at the time They went on many fun adventures and played every day. One day however, it all changed. Wranglers came and caught most of her herd. The remaing few merged with the Cimarron and tried to live on with their lives as one united herd. Isla and Ezra were two who were caught, They herds mourned the loss of the two young adults. Isla was moved into a ranch. At first she was sad and scared, being away from her family and into a new land. It was owned by a nice family. On the farm was an old ex- race horse. He made sure that the young one who she was safe and that the humans meant no harm. Time went on and grew up into a beautiful mare. It was okay. They treated her nice and fair. She came to like them. They kept her safe and well. One day they introduced her to a new stallion. She couldn’t believe it, it was her old childhood friend. Ezra. He had been sold to them by a neighbouring ranch. They were paired due to their similar coats and where used to produce show foals. They talked about their old days when they where young and soon fell in love with each other and the dream of going back to the wild. Soon they had a beautiful Daughter named Dottie. She was very pretty and shared the similar coat markings as her parents. However happy times didn’t last. It soon went downhill when the ranch ran out of money and the family was sold to the Calvary. Ezra was taken to pull the train, the two mares where kept at the Base for Show. The family vowed they if they ever got out then aim for their home land. As they arrived at the base this is when Isla saw an time and kicked out and their where on the run. Free. The pair set off. They followed the train track line, determined to find Ezra.
