History

Fuji was born in the Cimarron Herd just before Spirit. His mother died shortly after and he was cared for by the other mares of the herd. As a colt he was most known for causing the most trouble out of the foals and for having a big mouth. Most of the other foals thought he was a huge show-off and he didnt have many friends. His father Strider, who was herd leader, didnt pay much attension to Fuji and more to his other son Spirit. Fuji was very resentful towards Spirit making Strider dislike him more.

As a yearling Fuji grew to dislike his father and the herd more. He was very snobby to many of the horses causing them to become suspicious that he was a tratior to the herd. One night he and Spirit were arguing about who would be a better leader of the herd. Strider heard this and tried to break it up but Fuji then turned the argument to Strider, asking him why he was such a pathetic father to him. The fight got very bad and Strider ended up drivning Fuji out of his herd.

The next few months were very hard for Fuji as he needed to find a new herd to stay with. He made it to an open moor land and started to feed on the grass. Suddenly a group of Cavalry men and their horses made their way into the moor. Fuji spotted them and tried to run towards the mountains. A rope was flung over he head but luckily he was able to break free. After this he ran until he reached the bottom of the mountains and collasped. The next morning he awoke in the middle of a grassland surrounded by other horses. He was rescued by one of the stallions named Dexter, who was formally a Cavalry horse.

Fuji was soon granted allowance to stay with the Empress Band and he became friends with Dexter and a few other horses, even gaining a crush on a mare named Chante. Although he still has his snobby personality, he tries to keep it more at bay.
