Description: Runner was born in an unknown wild herd. He was the only colt that was born from his parents. One day the leader of the herd had senced people coming to their land and so he had the herd run to a safe place. But it was too late for Runner's parents because they were captured by the colonal. The leader of the herd had seen Runner try and go after the colonal but they left before Runner could get close. Runner had went back to follow the herd and then looked up in the sky and watched the clouds go by.The leader looked back at Runner and seen how sad he was and walked back to him and started talking to him. He told Runner that he would be a fine leader some day with his own herd and then he told Runner that if he wanted to leave the herd he could.

So from that moment Runner stopped and looked up at the leader and then back down. He closed his eyes and backed up and turned around and darted off. Runner was still a colt when he left the herd.  Ever since he had left his herd all he was doing is running. The reason why he had left the herd was to find his parents. He kept running just to find his parents. He never did find them. As he was running an indian was on his way back to his tribe when he seen him.The indian thought he would be able to ketch him but the horse was the fastest horse he had ever seen.

Runner decided to take a break and so he layed on the ground and then the indian had grabbed some rope and as Runner layed in the grass the indian had snuck behind him and threw the rope around the horse's neck and Runner fought so hard to get away but he never got away. The indian had taken him back to his tribe and put him in a carral. The indian walked up to the fence and wishpered to the horse and called him Runner.During the night the indian walked over to the fence again but this time he opened the gate and then Runner took off but then stopped and looked at the indian but then he decided to stay.

Runner was fully grown at the time and after that night the indian and him became friends and then Runner decided to go for a run and he ran to this place that was covered in grass and there was this water whole. Runner was drinking the water and then he noticed a mare coming twards him. The mare asked him what he was doing but then he asked her the same and she said she was going for a run and didn't expect to find anyone around. The mare left and so then Runner decided to go back to the indian village.Several days later at the indian village he sees the mare again and wondered why she was getting all hyped up about and then the mare walked over to him and asked why his name was Runner.

He told her thats all he had done and forgot why was running all the years. The mare had asked him if he would like to go back with her to her herd. He didn't want to but then the indian looked at him and shook his head up and down and Runner knew what that meant. So then Runner and the mare witch was named Alona had left to go back to her herd. When they arrived to her herd, Alona's parents were happy that she was safe and her father was a little curious about Runner but after a few days later he ended up liking Runner and hoped that one day Runner and Alona would have colts of their own.
