Personality.
Eostre comes off as a sarcastic mare who always has to have the last word when arguing with someone. She has an attitude that gets her into trouble every now and then but most other horses, and other creatures fall in love with her either way. She has an extremely high confidence level that shows all the time, slightly making her cocky but she does try to supress that side of her more than her sarcasim problem. Along side her attitude problem, is a hard worker that will put every ounce of her power and will into something, weither that be relationships or just working alongside her human counterparts.

History.
Eostre was born into a ranch, not to far from the fort base, she was born to a strong mare, who sadly wasn't strong enough to survive birth. She was rejected by her father and just being a newborn foal she had no idea what she had done to get her father to reject her like that. Seeing that this newborn foal needed help, she was taken in by one of the mules that worked on the ranch. And within a few months of living alongsides the mules that had taken her in, young Eostre learned how to be an excellet plow horse and was often told how proud she made her adoptive parents. Her biological father never really spoke to her after he blamed the foal for causing his mate's death but with the help of her new parents she was able to get over that and found love within creatures that weren't even related to her. But her life within the ranch would soon come to an end when the calvary requested that the ranch give them some horses to purchase for the use of making the railroad. Eostre was the first one to be sold off, along with the two mules that took her in, the trio was taken to the fort but when they arrived, Eostre was left while her 'parents' were dragged off to work on the railroads.
Eostre was chosen to be one of the prized breeding mares of the fort and was basically saved from almost being worked to death on the railroads. She was never really used as a breeding mare but was more or less a pretty face for the stallions of the fort to look at. She made friends with the Colonel's stalliona and often spent her days talking to him untill one day a buckskin stallion had busted most of the horses out of the fort and young Eostre was one of those, which she relcenty did in fear of the wild but with a little bit of a push from Granite (he didn't want to see her living in this fort and being used), she rushed out the gate and found her in a situtation she had never been in before.
She wandered for days and nights, till she stumbled upon another human village, one made of people who were tanner that the ones that she had been acustomed too. She would lurk around the village and just watch the people that lived within the tribe. She never went to close but she did enjoy seeing the human child, which were really the only people she would venture out of her hiding spot for. She would spend several hours a day running around with the young child, and would be almost heart broken when they left.
Eostre eventually let the older memebers of tribe get close to her, she realized that this people were similar to those who took care of her in her old life and she questioned herself for ever doubting these creatures. This was her new life, she was no longer used for breeding or for hard labor but was now a hunting horse that was used for war every now and then. Her life was grand and she enjoyed every day of it.
