Relation to spirit: He and his mom were in his herd for a year. He was raised by Esperanza after Spirit left as a yearling

Personality: Red is confident but not cocky. he doesn't accept a fight unless he is positive he has a chance at winning. He keeps the peace with others he meets in bachelor herds. He loves foals and would absoulutly love to Sire some of his own as well as start a herd.

Info: Red lost his mom when he was 6 months old. She fell ill with sand imapcted colic and while she was laying down was attacked by a cougar. Esperanza feeling horrible about what happened took the foal in when her own son Spirit left on a journey.

She named the foal Red River after a small stream that ran through the canyon long ago. and how when the air was still the water appeared blood red.

The other mares pitched in with raising the young colt into a yearling. Teaching him what was safe and not safe to eat. The area's of the meadow that were the best grazing spots. Which animals were safe to be around etcetra.

At a year old Red River left and joined into a small Bachelor herd where he has been for the past 2 years. He wishes to start a family and maybe even a herd of his own
