Name: Bee
Gender: Mare
Breed: Mustang
Coat Pattern/Color: Bay Dun with dorsal stripe and leg “bars”
Height: ~14.3 hands (short)
Lineage: Fuego x Aspen (Alma x Cedar)
Personality: She’s pretty sweet and quiet most of the time. She doesn’t like conflict and seeks to avoid it most of the time. If a fight is breaking out, she’ll just remove herself the situation. She stays calm in tough situations and always searches for a “holistic” solution. She isn’t quick to anger, and she’s often impressed by mundane things. She can be a bit indecisive and apathetic about important things occasionally.
History: Her maternal grandmother was Alma and her grandfather was Cedar, her mother- Aspen was Alma’s last foal. Her father- Fuego had just lost his entire herd when he met Aspen. Aspen felt pity for Fuego and soon joined him, giving the dark bay stallion a second chance at success. This time Fuego had learned from the past and was much more careful with his new family of Apsen and his new foal- Bee. Bee was named for the stripes on her legs, much like that of a bumble bee. While she was darker than her mother, they both had the same striping passed down from Cedar’s dun coat.
However, Fuego soon turned to old habits and started to build his herd too large once again, despite Aspen’s warnings. As a result a young stallion much resembling Fuego in his youth attempted to steal a few of Fuego’s mares. Though Fuego fought the newcomer off, the fight had weakened him a bit. The next time the young stallion returned, he failed to realize he was missing a mare. A very important one.
His daughter Bee had been stolen. Aspen had always warned Bee that this was a possibility, but not to worry. Bee was one of Xepher’s first mares, and he’d taken her because he knew a lead mare’s daughter would make an excellent lead mare in his herd. Bee doesn’t like how rash and brutish Xepher can be, but she puts up with him anyway. She likes having a herd of her own, and always takes the mares and foals to safety during fights or danger.
