H I S T O R Y
The humans that owned Chaytan, Kohana, and their family, trekked westward when they were just foals. During a Native raid on their camp, Chaytan and his family were taken to an Araphahoe village where he was raised until he was a year old. After wandering too far from the herd with his brother, they stumbled upon a group of Lakota Hunters and were taken to the same Lakota Sioux village that Sierra and Rain lived in. He grew close to Sierra, and was treated like a son to her, brother to Rain. Though, during that time, he and his brother, Kohana, drifted apart. The two tried to rekindle their former relationship but to no avail, they were just too different. The stallions then engaged in a fight and Chaytan became furious and left the herd. Four years passed and he has become much like a hardened machine, battling two wolf packs and bravely standing up to cougars. Though he travelled with few friends before, they perished in one of the wolf attacks and he now only travels alone. Since that incident, Chaytan's heart grew colder, and had unfortunately become accustomed to the object of death. His unfortunate encounters have made him shrewd and methodical. Some that have encountered him call him the Ghost of The Forest. He very much prefers to be alone but occasionally travels with others, but only for short lapses of time.
Relation to Spirit
Lived in the Lakota village from the ages of 2 to 4. Knew Sierra and was treated like a son. Good friend to Rain and knew Little Creek.
