Personality: Cal is typically seen as a rather strict character with a short temper. She tends not to want things to happen unexpectedly, and prefers to have everything planned out. often times it's easy for her to get angry, since she finds quite a few things annoying. And, if you get on her bad side, it's best to run for the hills. But, if you manage to gain her trust, she becomes protective of you, and even acts somewhat nice to you. She can be quite loyal to those she trusts, and she'd be willing to do anything for them.

History: Calfuray was originally born a year after Esperanza was to a mare of Esperanza's herd. She soon became good friends with her, and spent most of her time learning from her after her mother was captured by the Cavalry. As she grew, Esperanza became her best friend, and she learned most of her lessons from her. Soon, her herd with Esperanza broke up after a cold and hunger ravaged the group, leaving her with Esperanza and a few others. So, they went out, seeking a new herd, and soon joined one where Esperanza became good friends with a stallion of the herd named Strider. Cal was initially hurt by this, as her only friend and role model would rather spend more time with someone else, but she soon realized she had to get over this, and she soon became more distant.

After a storm in which she was spooked, she was seperated from both her herd and Esperanza. She continued on without the herd, until a month later, she came across Esperanza, only to find out she was pregnant. After staying with her until the foal was born. She soon left to be on her own again, and after traveling alone for a few years, she came across Esperanza's herd once again to find Spirit, Esperanza's son, was now a full grown adult. She then met Rain, his newfound mate, and was led to to the Lakota Tribe where she met May and Criss. She decided to tag along with them as they began their journey to form a herd.
