PERSONALITY

Brooklyn is a very positive, kind, and friendly mare. She is easy going and passionate about her herd and her mate. She is fair minded and patient about the horses in their herd. She’s sympathetic towards innocent or injured horses. She gets nervous when stallions fight and when she was a foal she was very shy.

Spending time with friends, visiting her mother and brother, hanging with Spirit’s mate Rain,

Stallions fighting, injured horses, death and foals that never see the sun, humans: they scare her,  

HISTORY

 Brooklyn was born in the Cimarron herd to Esperanza. She grew up playing with her big brother Spirit that was always there for her. She was very shy when she was a foal and it was hard to make friends. She often wonders off alone and that is when she meet Winston. She felt that she could be herself with him and played with him everyday. When they became yearlings they began dating. And when Spirit was taken Winston comforted her. She began to spend less and less time in the herd and soon began to stay with Winston. She always returned every once in awhile to check on her mother and see if Spirit had returned. When Spirit didn’t return Winston asked Brook to become his mate in a herd he was starting. She agreed and went to live with him. When Spirit returned he went to find her and bring her home but she stayed with Winston because she loved him. Spirit let her stay because he wanted her to be happy. But they meet often to catch up and visit their mother. Brooklyn became great friends with Rain, Spirit’s mate, and talked to her about anything she needs. Winston and Brook were successful in having their first foal and starting a herd.

RELATION TO SPIRIT

Esperanza is her mother and Spirit is her brother.
