bonny is an appaloosa mare that has stripes in her mane, and tail. her mate, herd and family is appaloosa horses . This is her story.

  On a hot summer day, Dixie gave birth to a beautiful leopard appaloosa filly. Dixie loved her new foal. She wanted to show the other calvary mares her foal. All of the mares just loved Bonny. When she became a yearling, It was her first time to get ridden. At first, she bucked the rider off. Her mother told her to be a gentle horse, and not to do that ever again. The second time she did it, she was as good as a dressage horse. She later became a horse of the Sergeant' daughter's horse. Bonny was given to her as a birthday present. Bonny loved her master very much. Her and her master, would always go on walks, but only in the calvary, and bon bon's owner would always give her sweet water and nice delicious food.She would give her an apple sometimes and would give her lots of love. One day, the Sergeant and his daughter rode their horses out of the calvary.This was bonny's first time. They got to a grassland where there was an appaloosa herd. bonny neighed to the horses, but they took one look and ran away. "Why are they running away?" bonny said to the the sergeant'' horse "They are running away, because they don't want to be captured little one. "I wonder what it's like to be free?" Bonny said. Bonny threw her master off of her, got the bridles off of her, and ran to the appaloosa horse herd. She finally found the herd, The hansom appaloosa stallion came charging up to Bonny. "What are you doing here! You don't belong here!"  Then Bonny started to cry. The stallion apologized, and said his name "I'm so sorry, My name is Blake, What's yours?",  "My name is Bonny" she said, still trying not to cry. He welcomed her in the herd, and she became a member of the herd right away.

On a cold summer morning, Spirit went to Blake's herd to steal some mares. Bonny heard a noise, and woke up and seen Spirit. Spirit took Bonny since she was half-asleep. Spirit bit her to go, but she squealed, and Blake instantly woke up. He took one look at spirit, and He attacked him for taking his mare. Blake won the fight while Spirit limped back to his herd. One day, a cougar came out of the bushes, and attacked Bonny. Blake jumped at Bonny, and took the cougar off of her. Bonny fell to the ground, wounded. Blake killed the cat and raced over to Bonny, "I'll be fine" Bonny said in a shaky voice. There was a cave where the herd was. Blake picked up the wounded mare, and raced to the cave.There for 4 weeks, he made sure she was okay, comforted her, and slept beside her every night. After the 4 terrible weeks, Bonny ran out of the cave and nuzzled Blake. All of the horses in the herd cheered that she was alright. After that, Bonny and Blake became mates for ever!
