HISTORY

Cale was born on a warm summers day in the cimarron herd to Spirit and Rain. He loved to play with the other foals and yearlings. He is his mommies boy and loved to spend time with his grandmother. He dreamed of one day becoming the leader of the cimarron herd like his father and standing on the hill looking down at all his mares. He day dreamed about it all the time.

One day Spirit took Rain and Cale to where his mom was born and rased, the indian village. It was beautiful and there were many horses to meet and play with. He made many friends there.

A few days after they had returned a cougar attacked the herd. It snuck threw the bushes twoards cale who was resting inthe bushes while the other foals played in the water. He screamed as the cougar attacked. The scream alerted all the other horses and Spirit who thundered down the hill towards the big cat and Cale, but by the time he reached Cale and had chased the cougar away Cale was gone. All the mares and foals gather with tears in there eyes. The lose of a foal was great. Rain and Esperanza mourned with the rest of the herd for the lose of the foal.
