Personality: Star is a quiet and patient mare who likes spending time with the foals of the herd.She's loving and liked to share her opinion about different kind of subjects.She is easy to become friends with but she cannot stand it when other horses complain about everything.She knows she's not lucky enough to have a foal of her own but she appreciates that she gets to watch other mares' foals grow up into a big healthy mare or stallion.

History: When Star was born,it was winter,really cold,and her mother was sick,unable to take proper care of her.They were stuck in a blizzard and they hand found cover in a big cold cave.Star's father was somewhere out there,he had promised he would go and find some help.After hours of waiting,her mother's helth was getting worse and that's where her father came back to the cave.With another stallion and a human on the stallion's back.They all waited there until the storm was gone and then they headed towards the tribe.The way towards there was rough.Her mother was getting worse with every second passing by.

Once they were there,the people took her in a hut and kept her there,warm.While Star and her father were put into a corral with 2 other horses : Rainand a grey tribe horse (the grey one from the movie).The people took care of all of them for 2 days until her mother finally recovered.During those 2 days.Star and her father had made a bond with Rain and the other horse.Finally,after a week,the family decided to move on.As they travelled through the plains,they found a big,nice herd.With a strong leader.His name was Spirit.Star and her family joined the herd and lived there with the rest of their horses.Her father was one of the guard stallions and her mother his mate.But all those 3 years,Star hadn't still adapted to the herd and the horses,she didn't like it.So one day she talked to Spirit and he let her go.After she said goodbye to her parents,she continued her journey.But this time,alone.

Star was a loner for a year or so,she would roam freely and happily,nothing holding her back : and that's what she called freedom.Until one day she noticed something tempting.A beautiful herd ran passed her,they looked happy,lively and mostly - free.She had a small talk with the leader,his name was Chima.He was impressive,she decided to join.Since then,she tries to live happily her life after a huge sadness she went through,findin out that she was unable to have a foal of her own.

Spirit Relation: Her parents are still members of Spirit's herd and she used to be.
