Born- Toffy was born a couple years before Sierra. She was never able to meet her mother because she died right after birth. She was taken care of by Sierra's mother. They became very close friends. Toffy was very kind when she was a foal. She was never mischievous like all the others but Sierra wasn't mischievous either. Toffy and Sierra were the only foals who behaved in the herd. They became close sisters until Toffy left at 3 years old to find her own herd or make her own. It was rough on the both of them. Toffy cried after she was far away enough so they couldn't hear her. Sierra cried. alot. And Sierra never forgot that moment.
4 years old- Toffy was a pretty palomino mare that everyone loved as a foal. But on the day that she was giving birth for the first time she gave birth to twins. She was excited to see the two bay pinto foals both fillies. The father's name was Buffy. But in the winter the foals were very unfortunate. There was one of the worst winter storms any horse has ever seen and both of the twin foals died. This was one of the worst years ever.
7 years later- After losing both of the twins no one wanted her in the herd if she couldn't take care of at least one of the twins but none of them understood the winter storm is what killed them. One day she ran into Gris. She asked if she could join the herd after she told him the story about the twins and how no one would accept her. He was the only horse that really understood. She was now able to be in a herd that cared. She told the foals stories about the twins and the winter storm and how their ghosts still lurk around Colorado.
