History: Cannon was born into becoming a Cavalry horse. and so was his father, Granite. He's the chief's horse. All the young colts ddreamed of being the Chief's horse one day. Cannon dreamed different. He wondered what it's like to be free. His father told him that being free would make their lives worse. Cannon didn't believe that. He never really believed, or even listened to, anything his father told him. Cannon would just agree with his father to whatever he says. He realized that he agreed to become the Chief's horse once his father had died. What a horrible decision that was.
1 year later:Cannon had the chance to escape so he did.He found some cowboys that took him in. Cannon was taken with some other horses down to some small canyon to go capture wild horses. They set camp in the forest. Cannon was tied up to a log with the rest of the horses. They were all 2 year olds just like Cannon. It was the first time Cannon had ever left the Cavalry. Later a horse stopped by. Cannon tried to stop him but he was too dumb to realize he was gonna get captured. The wild stallion told Cannon his name was Spirit. They became friends, after he woke the people and was chased for a while and Spirit was eventually caught and they took him back to the Cavalry to be broken. Cannon decided to take the chance to see his mother again. He went with Spirit to the Cavalry. Now Spirit and Cannon were friends.
Later Spirit was ridden and ridden. And one after the other, the cavalry soldiers would be flying through the air. After three days of the post Spirit was ridden by the Chief but he knocked him off too. Cannon looked in amazement. He thought that if he became wild maybe he could gain strength like that. Spirit escaped with the Lakota Indian, Little Creek. He even set all of the Cavalry horses free. At least Cannon got out. His mother and his father, Granite stayed behind. Cannon was now free and could do whatever he wanted. He thanked Spirit and ran off to go try and start his own herd.
