History: When Esteban's mother got pregnant with him, she was young, just barely mature as with his father. The two weren't ready for foals, so they planned on abandoning him early on in the pregnancy. Estaban was born on a chilly fall day and was at risk of dying. But luckily, a big black stallion rescued the newborn foal, keeping him warm and out of the wind. Esteban was naturally small from the lack of nutrition from his mothe's milk and often got sick from not getting the colostrum that was needed. Growing up, Esteban didn't have any friends except for his older adoptive brother, Quereto, who would often run off with his own friends. Esteban was 6 when he met a beautiful gray mare named Kory. Kory was the first young mare that he had seen, since he never lived in a herd. He would often watch her, just admiriing her and wondering if she liked him. Esteban had finally gotten the courage to ask her if they could hang out when a different stallion with a coat the color of the darkest night caught her eye and she went with him.

Esteban went out on his own to look for some land to call his own. In his travels, he met a buckskin stallion named Spirit. Spirit took notice of Esteban's serious attitude and tried to loosen him up a little. Esteban quickly warmed up to him and they became close friends.
