Personality: Brisa is a laid back mare with a little bit of a wild side. She has a zest for life and a live in the moment attitude. She's shy when she first meets someone but once she gets to know them, she gets crazy. Flirting is one of her specialties just like her little brother.

History: Brisa was born in the cimarron herd with Strider and Esperanza as parents. Even though she was an unexpected baby, her parents loved her. As a young foal, Brisa's energetic personality has shone through.  When Brisa was about two, her little brother Spirit was born. Brisa loved playing with her brother and would often tease him playfully. As Brisa blossumed into a beautiful, confident mare, she had relationships with a few colts. She would often think that the young stallion she was with at the time would be the forever one for her, but they would often break her heart. But one day a beaten up bay stallion wandered into the herd looking for a place to stay while he healed. Strider studied the stallions condition and once he determined how bad it was, he let the stranger stay. Brisa liked the young horse, Davar, but it took her a while to win him over. Davar wasn't interested in younger mares, but eventuelly took a shining to Brisa. Brisa and Davar were in a relationship for a while before Davar finally decided to make a proposal to her as his mate. Brisa readily agreed and they were soon mated.

Not long after the two were mated, Davar became verbaly abusive. He would yell at her and tell her she was too fat and ugly for him. But Brisa was so blinded by her love for him, the words didn't really have any effect. As Davar's anger grew, he got physicaly abusive. When he would come back from his "buisness" (Flirting and coupling with other mares), he would push Brisa around. About a year after Brisa and Davar were mated, Brisa brought up the topic of foals. Davar got furious and struck Brisa saying that he would never have a foal with a mare of his status. Brisa became enraged and screamed at Davar to leave and never come back, she didn't want to see him ever again. Once Davar left,  Brisa broke down crying wondering how she could have fallen for someone like that.

Relation to Spirit: She is his older sister amd his foalhood playmate.
