Herd Life

Nolka lived in a small her among a lovely forest with her siblings and her oldest sister Niabi, rhe two were the best of freinds. as her mother would say,.."You two are like the sky with the clouds, no matter where you go you are together somewhere." Nolka nev er thought much about their closeness, not until they wre older did she wonder,..'Will we always be together?" But it stayed the same. Her mother used to tell them stories of cowboys and being freed by a magnificent horse. Naomi didn't really beleive ,..or atleast said she didn't. (Nolka knew she did though,) And the cowboys or two-leg stories scared Niabi

Then when they were, older, Nolka almost got stolen away by Conifer. Niabi stopped him,..but she still got scars on her withers that her mane covered. Niabi had charged, and freaked out later. "Are you okay? Are You Okay!" "I'm fine,.." But she still had scars,..if Niabi ever noticed, she'd lose it! Then month after month with their friend dawn they traveled, until dawn was taken,..by two-legs. The stories mother told were true, both Niabi and Nolka were caught by the cavalry,..Than put ionto the base. Niabi was afraid very afraid. They were almost seperated when Biabi was going to be sent out,..but instead the colonel decided to send a different horse. That's when Spirit rescued them,..Niabi almost wasn't there,..But it did not matter now, Spirit had freed them and they wrre together. But something seemed to still bother Niabi,...but what.
