Bio: Trooper was born in the Cimarron Herd. He became close friends with Spirit and the other colts and fillies in the herd. When the other foals and he and Spirit grew to young adults, the Stallions left, but most of the fillies stayed there. When Spirit got captured Trooper stayed for a while and watched the herd. Then he decided he must go after Spirit. When he left he stayed safe for 2 days and 2 nights. On the third day he was captured by the Cowboys and sold to the Calvary. The calvary were very low on horses and Trooper knew his friend had been here. 

Trooper heard the colonel speak of a buckskin mustang on the loose in the nearby Indian Tribe. The colonel's horse Granite, had gotten injured. The colonel had no horse to ride and din't want any men traveling on foot. So he decided to ride Trooper. 

When they arrived to the village, they invaded harshly. Trooper lead and galloped fast shooting his eyes everywhere in fright searching for the Kieger Mustang. The colonel jabbed  his spurs into Trooper's side, and held on tighter as the stallion sped faster to the rushing river. Trooper skidded to a halt as he scrambled off the sliding mud on the edge of the mad coursing river. Trooper heard a frantic neighing from a stallion. He turned around to see a painted mare galloping straight towards him and Spirit galloping faster behind her. Trooper looked up at the colonel in shock and knowing what the next move was and jumped a bit as the gun shot went off. He watched as the mare and the human fell into the river. 

He reared as Spirit ran into him in the chest. The colonel fell off and rubbed his head. Trooper looked down at the soldier and then at his friend who was already racing after the paint on the cliff. Trooper bounded off towards them galloping quickly to catch up. He skidded to a quick halt as Spirit leaped into the water and the cliff ended. Trooper flipped around and bolted the other way t find the end of the waterfall. 

Trooper found the waterfall and stopped walking slowly to the wounded horse. He didn't see Spirit for a minute then leaped into the water searching for his friend. Spirit leaped out of the water and Trooper galloped towards him. He nudged him and pointed his nose to the painted mare lying at the shore. Spirit leaped over the log, with Trooper close behind. Trooper stood by the two sleeping all night until, three soldiers came and ropped the two. One soldier told them to leave the mare and she wouldn't make it. The soldiers walked the horses to the train cars. They untacked Trooper and loaded the two stallions. 

After the depressing train ride they got stuck and had to pull the train the rest of the way. Spirit and Trooper were paired and pulled, working hard. Then Spirit stopped. It was heading to their homeland! So Trooper stopped as well. Then Spirit came up with an idea and fell to the ground. Trooper was not aware of the plan and got scared. He watched as they dragged the "lifeless" body away. Then all of a sudden Spirit kicked off the chains and galloped to the front of the train, and broke the horses free. The horses galloped off down the hill but Trooper stopped and flipped around to help his parnter. When Spirit galloped off into the forst Trooper followed him carefully. Then when he saw the train coming down on him he bolted. 

The next day, Trooper was over by the river next to Little Creek drinking water when Spirit and Little Creek started playing in the water and splashing. Trooper didn't like to get wet unless neccessary. Trooper walked away and munched on an apple until they were finished. Trooper lifted his head quickly at the sound of sharp familiar horse neigh. Trooper snorted when he saw the colonel and Granite. Spirit and Little Creek ran. Trooper galloped behind them, slowly then turned a differen way rying to lead them off of Spirit's path. He lost most of the soldier's and their horses. Trooper led them through the forest losing all of them through obstacles. Trooper ended up meeting Spirit on the other side of the great Canyon. Spirit leaped over it and they headed towards the human's village. 

When they arrived at the village Trooper stood far back away from spirit and the human. When he saw Rain and spirit so happy to see each other he was pleased to see his friend so in love. Once they were ready all three set out to home. When they arrived Spirit and Trooper were happy to be home.
