Personality

Rin can seem like an uncaring horse, sometimes even seen as a violent one, really he's just a blunt horse with quite the soft heart, he finds it easy to listen to others and try to comfort them when he really has to. He's seen more active during the night than he is during the day, this often confuses the others and makes him rather hard to deal with if you need to get him moving during the day, he's lazy and stubborn which can also annoy others and makes him a bad ride for any humans attempting to capture or ride him. He shows great interest in jumping, avoiding water and attempting to listen to humans play music as he finds it calming and interesting.

History

Rin was born in Striders herd after his dam had enough of her previous mate, his sire, the cimarron herd being close to his grandams herd was fortunate for the pair as the two would constantly visit the elder mare.

Being born to the Cimarron herd most of the other foals wouldn't pay much attention to the young horse and if they did they'd often just poke the wrong buttons and send the colt back to his mother or into a fight that Strider had to stop.

As the months and years passed Rin started growing more distance from the other herd members and more fights started between the fillies and Striders colt, Spirit, though Rin started not to care about the others. It didn't take long after this that his dam decided to move to his granddams herd for the time being, this had solved issues until Rin had fights with the other young horses of the herd, but remained close to three specific friends.

About a year later, his dam decided it best to move, Rin had no arguments with the move and willingly went with her to a new herd, it was here that Rin was happily able to keep to himself some more, even starting to wonder off more and more, everytime he wondered off he stopped behind a small shack to listen to a human play music, the sounds interested the stallion to stay away from the herd for long periods of time.

It wasn't long after meeting this human that Rin had left the herd to find his own way, but he always makes visits to his family, no matter where they head to, he likes staying close to them.

During one of Rins visits he got cut off from his way home by a forest fire that had been started by Spirit crashing a pair of steam trains, this caused him to bolt back to the herd he was visiting and telling them to run to safety, Being one of the slowest of the herd he was only just able to keep up with the bolting herd, though one thing got the stallion curious... Who started that fire?

Being far enough away from the fire after it died down, Rin headed back to where his curiousity was perked, the origins of the fire, it took him a long time for him to find the location, there he had seen the wreck of the trains and a few souls who had lost their lives to the fire, curious, he started walking around, looking at all the strange things that were there, the wrecked train, the burnt down buildings, it was all too curious for him, then something pulled at his throat, a rough feeling that was dragging him, wondering what was hurting his neck he looked behind him, seeing a military human on a horse had Rin confused but got the hint it was a bad idea and pulled back, being a heavier animal he was able to escape the mans clutches and run for it, shockingly fast too.

Once Rin had stopped out of exhaustion he looked back to see if the man had followed, he was lucky he haden't and went back on his way to where his family was once more, it took him longer than usual to find them but he was relieved to find them all safe and spent a few weeks in the safety of a group.

After the weeks ended it didn't take Rin long to run into Spirit and Rain, he was surprised to see the stallion alone with this mare and watched as the buckskin galloped back to his herd, going through his memories of the young buckskin, Rin decided it best that he just move on into colder climates, he's been traveling there since, meeting new horses every now and then.
