History

Herd Life

Duro's life was always hard. His herd didn't live in a lush green valley. They lived in the desert. Duro was never intrested in lush green valleys his herd had never beeen to one. There herd was not very big, just a few mares and the mysterious herd stallion lightening, he was a flashy palomino. He was certain he was his father, and he was. Lightening was always there for his herd, even when the cavalry came. They rounded some of them up,...they got Duro's mother.  There was nothing lightening could do,..The cavalry were closer to the desert than anything else. For some strange reason he never let Duro show much sign of weakness after that. Not ever. As Duro grew he seeked out challenges. He never wanted the easy way, he liked to fight to survive, all because something changed in his father.--------As time passesd, Duro grew, he was now old enough to be out on his own, so his father did what the fatherly herd stallion does, and simply told him he must leave,..and if he would come back,..he would charge him, or even fight him away. This was his father's herd,..Duro had to have a different life now. Duro left a day after he was told,...

Bachelor Life

Duro headed out on his own. Not many bachelor groups lived in the desert anymore, though many young colts got chased out here .If they did, the cavalry would've gotten them. So he headed for the mountains, through forest through hills,...and into the plains and valleys of green. They were so beautiful,...but there were more horses,...there werree bachelor groups,..and were they were was more predtators to fight! Thats where he found the bachelors, joined before conifer worked his way up. Duro made many freinds, Conifer,Bullet,Bajo,Nengo,and Wirlwind. But after Conifer started to do more things to work his way up,...Whirlwind got all distant. He would ask him,..Whirlywind,..hey windy whats the matter?-He'd just say,-Ah,..nuthin.- But Duro knew when it was something,..he always could. He knew he was worried about Conifer. 

The bachelors disbanded, like all bachelors do, and find there own lives.

He met Zaphara and found the lakota village,..and met his cousins, Rain and Strongwind, then the cavalry came,.Duro despised them. They attacked,..then Spirit came,...He helped protect them. But after the attack where rain was shot,...Duro left,..he couldn't stand it,..He went with Zaphara.
